"Best Appliance was recommended by another repair service whose schedule was too full to accommodate us. Was able to schedule an appointment pretty quickly for the initial assessment (within a day or two as I recall). Scheduler was very friendly. Technician was very professional. We did have to wait 3-4 business days before the Samsung dryer part came in (which we were told about up front). I called a few times to check on the status of the part, and was treated politely over the phone. Once the part arrived, it was another couple of days before there was an available technician to come back to install it. Overall, we were pleased with the level of service provided."

"Both Alex and Chad were amazing! At my request the appointment was scheduled for a Friday after 4:00 pm. They arrived in a timely manner. They put down skid pads to protect our floor from damage. Our refrigerator is about 7 years old and was the largest and fanciest we could find when we bought it. It barely fits in the opening leaving very little room when pulled out. Chad squeezed in behind the refrigerator. The compressor had gotten so hot that the exterior of the refrigerator was hot to the touch. While it was cooling they decided to try a couple of quick repairs, but once the compressor cooled enough to continue, they determined the problem was the computer board. Alex told me that the call just before ours had the same computer board and although repairable the customer decided on a new board. Alex also advised me that our board was not repairable. Due to this Alex would drive up to Shingle Springs to get a new board or could repair the board from the previous call. We decided that repairing the board was fine. I watched him re-solder part of the board which he gave to Chad to install. I received a 3 month warranty on the work and on the board he repaired. Alex phoned me over the weekend to confirm the refrigerator was still working fine. You have got to be kidding me!! These guys are totally amazing. Both seemed more concerned about my family than we were about ourselves and all of this occurred at the end of the week with a weekend just waiting for them to do something fun. I have never received such great service from anyone anywhere at any time. <br />"

"Value Appliance was excellent!! Immediate, full resolution of our problem the first time they came out. And their appointment setting and communication system is very thorough and convenient. The repair tech was very professional and capable. <br /> We'd had another provider (A-1 Appliance) out to fix the problem. The tech said he'd get back to me with an estimate to fix it. Nearly three weeks later I had to call them just to be told it would cost $1,000 to replace the two burners/ignitors and that they would have to order the knob. I said forget the burners just order the knob. He claimed I would incur another service charge when he brought the knob out to "install" it. I told him I would just pick it up once it came in. Another three weeks go by so I call them back and they have no info on the status of the knob and said they would call back. That was last week - I haven't heard from them. <br /> By comparison, I contacted Value Appliance on a Monday and within three days the tech came out, resolved the problem and promised to drop the knob off early next week once it arrives. That whole process will take only a week. <br /> Another important note: I have since learned that Value Appliance is the only repair operation certified by Viking in the Sacramento area. A-1 and possibly others are misrepresenting their expertise. Make sure you call a certified, qualified repair company!! <br />"

"I wish I had used these people earlier. I ordered a part for my dryer and was able through their instructional video to fix it myself. Let me tell you I am "mechanically challenged" in just about every way. "when tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great"
