Crew & project manager was friendly and professional, and they provided a good overview of the job and how the company may differ from other companies in regard to the preparation, staff assignment, and paint quality. "We have a 50 year old single family residence that was built in the 70s. The foundation needed repairs to restore it to its original strength, and retrofits to meet current earthquake regulations. I researched all the options to repair and retrofit the home. Sure Safe's was the best available. They installed 50+ brand new concrete footers and steel piers to secure the home. No other contractor offered a solution that was adequate structurally. Art was great to work with and answered ALL my questions. Elaine coordinated the entire process and the team of Sergio, Casey and Brock worked tirelessly to install everything in a single day. Wow! "Project kickoff began with an evaluation and a quote from a Ned Clyde engineer. After accepting the offer, we waited for 3 months to begin work due to high demand for their services. Project work spanned about four weeks, with some downtime due to weather. Aside from the main work of returning the floor and walls to original positions, the french drain along the foundation was remade with modern material. This work required a permit from the city of Martinez that required adding an earthquake shutoff valve for the natural gas service and a check for smoke and carbon monoxide detectors matching current codes. The cost of these upgrades were outside of the feeds paid to Ned Clyde, but they are sensible requirements that would have been done eventually anyway. Overall, the Ned Clyde folks are experts who did exactly what they promised with no required feedback. Costs were in line with other quotes, but I got the sense that I got a great bargain in value provided."

"From start to finish it was a very pleasant experience. The workers who came out to a simple the cabinets and put on the Apoxsee floor were very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them to anybody who wants epoxy flooring or cabinets."

"For several years, during and after periods of rain, water (as much as an inch) has accumulated in parts of our basement. Other parts have gotten very wet from the water draining down towards an existing sump pump. I waited to do a report until we had gotten some rain and while this year has not been exceptionally wet, there was enough rain to convince me that the problem in our basement has been solved. The entire process went smoothly and everything was handled with skill and attention to detail. I had gotten other estimates which were higher than Bay Area Moisture Control and I am not sure that the work suggested would have solved the problem. In summary, the parts of our basement that were getting very wet are now dry."

He and I were on the same wave length in terms of me understanding the services I needed as well as clarifying the role he plays relative to the role I play in a new construction process. So, I find him very easy to work with although I have not had him do any work yet. At this point, however, I highly recommend him. The only problem I had was that the bid I requested was not as detailed as I had hoped for. Other than that; everything else was great. He has been very responsive but I have another contractor that I also am considering."
