"We received four bids to replace our asphalt driveway with poured concrete. Although Castle wasn't the lowest bid we received, we felt comfortable with Kevin and decided to hire his company. The work was delayed due to weather (the amount of rain we received in the St. Louis area in the Spring 2019 was horrible), but once it did begin, we were very happy. "Al came out quickly and gave me a bid. He offered an alternative material for the porch floor that would last longer than traditional wood at a reasonable cost and addressed my request to slighty slant the floor so that rain water would not sit on the floor's right side. Al came out and did the work himself. He did a very good job. The finish work was also nicely done. He pays attention to details. When I had concerns, Al addressed them and worked with me. Rain delayed the work on the back porch and painting, but he came back as the weather allowed and finished the work in a timely manner. Overall Al did a great job and I would hire him again."

"The Aetna representative was on time and professional. He was courteous but all business, which I appreciated.  He pointed out the drainage problem that was causing the old retaining wall to collapse. He spoke knowledgeably about hydrostatic pressure and how best to resolve the problem. His bid included the trenching and drain installation that we'd need to prevent this from happening again.
We were impressed by Aetna, but their bid was by far the highest we received, even when accounting for the drains, etc., so we used a different company. But I would consider Aetna again for future jobs."
