"Five years ago my wife and I had our house pierced. We thought the company was reputable and would stand by their product. We had over 25 piers installed. However our basement foundation continued to settle. We thought we had a lifetime warranty. At least that's what the salesman told us, but when we called him back out the company could not stand by it because it was an act of god that their product failed. We called Advanced Foundation Repair and Replacement. Frank Matyiko came out the next day with a structural engineer and they concluded that the only fix would be a new basement. They cautiously demolished our old foundation and hauled it away. We have a new 9 foot basement. We wish we never paid for the piercing originally. They provide service for the smallest foundation to the most radical job imaginable. Great job guys!!!

"The shingles were delivered as scheduled.  Actual roofing work was delayed for a few days due to weather.  This was expected.  Work, however, began unexpectedly and I arrived home from work after dark noting equipment in my back, fenced (and locked) back yard and a tarps on my roof where shingles had been removed.  Fortunately, my dog was still in yard.  I waited for arrival of sub-contractor the next morning and provided my cell number directly to the boss for future notices. 
I spent much time picking up nails in yard to avoid dog paw injuries (previous dog required animal hospital care subsequent to paw impaled by nail following earlier roofing job).  Minor damages--window screen tear and cracked flower pot--occurred and corrected later.
All in all, I am  very pleased with appearance of roof.  I believe that all installations were completed correctly.  All workers were polite, helpful, and accepting of feedback.  Input I provided the contractor at job completion included enhanced communication with homeowners regarding dates that work is to occur and any other details which could prove helpful to work crew, e.g.is access to outlets needed.  At times I found myself in position of directing the sub-contractor, pointing out aspects that were incongruent with my signed contract with the company.  I, too, pointed out to general contractor that I felt that the work required more frequent review/oversight to avoid the subs need to back-track and "do over".  I will say that each problem/correction noted was remedied at my request."

"I originally planned to hire Modern Marvels to demolish my garage (which was leaning quite a bit to one side and needed to be winched over and one wall rebuilt) because the repair bids I was getting were too expensive. "Jeramie (owner) and his team earned my trust as reliable professionals.  Completely recommend Jeramie to all.  I was debating between EFR and another competitor (large company which is on TV and Radio).  Cost was about same (little less with EFR) but it was not the cost that sold me, it was Jeramies interaction and honest communication.  while this had no impact on my decision, it may be worth mentioning- EFR was able to complete my job after about 2 weeks from contract signing while the other provider said it would be 6-8 weeks. Jeramie was able to complete my job in   The other provider attempted to upsell me on a unique pier they offer but according to engineers I contacted it would have no additional value that jeramie providers.  What I gained from the most part is that a pier is a pier. I had a two day job and Jeramie showed up each day to make sure I was happy and to explain the goal.  His team was incredibly professional in letting me know each step, where they were at and the next step.  Surprisingly they kept the property fully protected and when completed the team even returned my property to its full state prior to the job- very happy as I had a lot of work on my property over the last couple years (turf grass, flowers etc).  Jeramie even followed up one week later to ensure I was happy with the experience.  The true value in this entire process and why I highly recommend EFR is the entire additional experience one gains from using EFR: trust, dedication, care, and communication."
