Making sure appliances being worked on are properly functioning and safe to use for customer. The customer should not be telling or begging technicians to perform safety checks on appliances. "The whole job took him under 10 minutes to complete. However, the dryer that he “fixed” went out again just about a month later. I called somebody else out and he showed me just how much I was scammed. The whole piece needed to be replaced, not just clamped on like the previous guy did. The other guy I called out informed me that this botched job the former guy did could have resulted in a fire, due to the hot air not circulating. Overall I feel as if I was scammed due to the job not being performed correctly the first time."
