Because we have chosen to focus on being the best at full exteriors, we really aren't geared up to do small jobs like trim only, just doors or a fence for example. We can do these as part of a larger job. We are part of the Neighborly Group Franchise family that includes Mr. Handyman, Molly Maids, Glass Doctor, Rainbow Restoration, Mr. Electric, the Grounds Guys, Mr. Appliance, Mr. Rooter, and Aire Serv.
"If you love to have to re-do the work that you paid someone else a lot of money to do, then these are your guys. The clear lack of attention and care to the prep work has resulted in constant peeling and bubbling of all the surfaces they touched some 2+ years ago. To their credit, they DID come back out after the initial work was done to “fix” the terrible staining job they did on our deck as it was peeling off in sheets 6 months later, however all that was done was the application of another coat of product. When it was complete, the project manager (who never bothered to come by and check on things) called my wife (not me) and told her that “if it happens again, it’s your problem”. Classy. No follow up from the owner at all, who seemed nice enough but disconnected from what was really happening on-site. another 6 months later, the stain was coming off in sheets, yet again. I spoke with the fine folks at Sherwin-Williams who confirmed that the only reason their products would be doing this so quickly after the completion of the work would be poor preparation of the surfaces. They were nice enough to give me a discount on the purchase of paint and stain to re-do the job right. Oh and be sure to read the fine print on their warranty… it’s only activated when you leave them a “5 Star” review with the parent company of the franchise. Pay extra. Go with a company that stands behind their work."

Guillermo, our project coordinator, offered to come out and see our project in person the day after our call, and was able to get a crew out to make the repairs that same week. The work was fast, but thorough - the Rain City crew even identified and fixed a number of additional siding and flashing issues around our house that we weren't aware of. Perhaps best of all, the minimum project size was reasonable: we didn't have to throw away any money for their services.
