They explained the process carefully and handled the refund of unused material. No complaints about their service or work. As for value for money, can't say because we needed to get the work done and didn't really shop around, but we are happy with the end result at a reasonable price."

"I contacted Wayne Thibodeaux, Jr., of Smart Floors because I needed floor repairs, and a contractor already on Angie's List had recommended him. He came out for an estimate, saw that the repairs would go beyond what he normally provides (carpet/floor installation and minor repair), showed me what the problem was (sagging floor joists), explained what the probable fix would be, and recommended several other outfits for the job. When I received the other estimate and realized that my living room carpet would need to be pulled back for some of these repairs and then restretched, I arranged for Wayne to coordinate with these other workers to do this part of the job.
He and his crew were prompt, efficient, and friendly, and they were careful about moving my fragile furniture. Wayne also answers phone calls and texts promptly, which is an added bonus. He charges $30 for an estimate, but then if he's hired that money is applied to your total bill. If I need carpet or tile installed, I'll definitely call him again."
