They didn't tell me they were going to start the job until the day before they were going to start the job, which was a hassle because I had some bush trimming to do before they started. Also, they apply a little paint so you can decide whether you like it or not (which I liked), but was given very little time to view and decide. I don't know, it seemed kind of chaotic compared to experiences I've had with other contractors."

"removed cedar shakes; replaced roofing with asphalt. did a good job, although didn't always arrive on time;   Problem:  roof hammering caused damage to indoor ceiling and they failed to complete repairs with matching paint.  Also, owner's father kept repeating how they were under no obligation to repair inside ceiling but were doing so -- as if I was supposed to thank them for doing so.  My comment:  If you're going to make repairs, just make them; don't expect me to applaud -- especially if repairs fell short due to a failure to match indoor ceiling paint color."
