He uses quality Owens Corning architectural shingles and other materials are upgrades as well. There are no short cuts. The roofers replaced certain sections of wood that were improperly nailed by the prior company. Our roof is solid and aesthetically pleasing - a real improvement to the overall curb appeal of the house. Besides the quality work Fred’s company provides, expect some excellent customer service. Fred called us multiple times - to update on orders, schedules, arrival times, etc. He picks up the phone or shortly calls back. That’s comforting when you have engaged a company for a big ticket project. He made good on every single thing we discussed. The clean up was amazing with landscaping and lawn protected by tarps. The men use a “magnet on a pole” to pick up stray nails on the ground. I highly endorse Preferred Roofing for a worry free roofing project."

"I had initially scheduled the AC Service for my home. I was able to get appointment the same week and service tech showed up right on time! He went through a 20 point 'comfort' inspection with me which not only covered the AC unit, but he checked out the furnace where it connected too. He had mentioned other specials that they were having and I was not very interested until he asked me if he could put a tube camera down my ducts to see if there is build up there. UGH. I had no idea of the amount of dust etc (legos) that had built up in there! <br /> I was able to get a good deal (sale I think?) on the additional duct service because I added it with the AC Service call and he did it the same day! <br /> I was impressed with the service, thoroughness, and my house feels so much more clean now that I got all that extra dirt out!!"

"Scott, the salesman, was very nice when he came out. He explained the cheaper windows to me, but also explained the benefit of triple pane, which I decided to go with in the end. They look much nicer than my old windows, working well beyond my initial expectations on the first heating bill. The trim work was flawless. Danny and the crew were courteous and clean. The office staff was also very helpful. <br /> <br /> They completed my roof a year ago, just finished up with my windows, and just I will be calling them back in the future for new siding and gutters. "They are not the cheapest service in the area, but I like their professionalism, quality, and the wide range of services they can handle. I think of them as if I want something done right, hire them, I may pay more more, but I know its done right. For example, when we remodeled our main floor, they redid the HVAC and electrical and got me to do things I didn't initially budget for, like convert the baseboard vents to more modern floor vents and install wired smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms in all bedrooms and furnace room. For the remodel, we called them last minute and they still got everything done on schedule, and it was a big job. Always very professional."

"Recently purchased a townhouse that has EIFS. We had it inspected prior to purchase and were told that the seals needed to be replaced, some cracks needed to be repaired, and there was a section of the EIFS that needed to be pulled out and replaced. We had some issues getting a good report from the inspector and US Exterior was great working with us re: the type of information they would need before they could provide an estimate. They were very responsive and good about answering all of our questions. They were very prompt in providing a bid that was generally comparable to those we received from other companies. The bid they provided was very detailed re: what work was to be done and referenced the inspection report, which made it easy to follow their proposal. The final cost was slightly lower than the estimate they provided. They kept to the schedule, even with all the rain this year. The workers were polite, kept us informed re: what they were doing, were not intrusive, and got the work done quickly. No complaints at all and will use them again for general upkeep/any problems in the future."
