The work was scheduled as we requested and he and his crew showed up at the scheduled day and time. He estimated two days to complete the work--and the work was completed in those two days. He and his crew were careful in working at the site (private home). They installed an underground drain pipe and catch basins to address stormwater drain issues during major rains. They were careful to ensure that the pipe inclined lower until it daylighted--they used a level to check and verify this. They reinstalled brickwork that they had first removed and did a great job. Adrian was very knowledgeable and took time to answer my several questions before the job and during the two days working on the project."

"Everything went smoothly. The communication was great. They arrived when they said they would. They removed 65 square feet of concrete from my patio and hauled it away. The jackhammer only took about 10 minutes and was not as loud as I had expected. They were only on my patio for about 45 minutes. They did not waste any time. Originally, I had gotten a bid from them to only remove 10 square feet. The day before, we changed our minds. D & A Concrete was able to provide an updated bid over the phone. "Steve Norfolk and his crew dug down to the footing and applied the waterproof material a section at a time.  The original plan was to dig the entire area first and then apply the waterproof material all at the same time.  However daily torrential rains turned the area into a sea of mud, so he decided to do it a section at a time to minimize problems associated with the rain.  He had to break up a concrete slab (porch) for 1/2 the front, and approximately 25 feet of driveway next to the house.  Progress was slow due to the rain and mud, but Steve steadfastly pursued the completion of the job despite the setbacks.  Although justifiably discouraged by the rain and lack of progress, he exhibited a positive "can do" attitude and kept at it.  The finished product was professionally done.  Backfill and all concrete were properly completed, and grass seed applied.  Steve is a conscientious professional who knows his business and can be relied upon to do the work he says he will accomplish.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.
