"Tim and his crew from All Pro Painting did a excellent job power-washing and painting the exterior of my house, as well as, staining the fence. They were always professional and did outstanding work. I will definitely hire them again for future work and highly recommend them."

"Ben provided high quality service for a fair price. The interior painting was fantastic and he went the extra mile for trim and door finishing. For pressure washing, Ben was able to clean out the gutters and make the exterior spotless afterwards. Ben was also able to repair our back door trim and repaint it on a short notice. I highly recommend Ben for any home project you need help with."

Customers say: Quality work

"Miguel came out and provided an estimate to repair/replace part of my fence blown down by recent high winds. His price was reasonable and he started work within one day after me agreeing to the estimate. All work was accomplished in one day and he cleaned up the area and removed all materials as provided on his estimate. He was both professional and prompt. His workmanship was great! I would definitely recommend him for this and other residential repairs. "

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Virginia Beach, VA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
