"They did a good job. We purchased the Angie's Deal for new granite countertops for $1499. Of course we ended up choosing a higher priced granite, needing more granite square footage than the deal covered, and upgrading the sink for additional cost. They also needed to move up the electrical outlets to accommodate for the new 6 inch granite backsplash. Bryan and his team did the entire job in 2 days and were great. One thing to mention is that they do not hook back up the sink after the job. They were very clear about that in their estimate. We called a separate plumber for that the next day. Overall, very happy with my counters. Now if someone else would just do the cooking in there!"

"The cleaning solution splashed everywhere onto the stainless steel refrigerator, cabinets, and the water station. The refrigerator is forever ruined after many attempts to clean it with different professional stainless steel solutions. He even used the kitchen sink to dump the soil water and possibly clean the cleaning equipment. The tile floor looks whiter but we pay a hefty price for that. Angie's List: please advise."

"After finding out the hard way that slid surface counters can crack when exposed to heat, in this case from a crock pot combined with a badly done installation, I was fortunate to have Julie guide me through the repair process. She responded quickly, reviewed an image I sent and drove out to the house the same day she was contacted to assess the damage. She identified the manufacturer for the surface that was long discontinued. This was a rental house and no extra material was available to repair the damage yet she still was able to work her magic to repair the surface well and at an affordable price. They saved me almost half of what I was quoted by Carousel - Felikian's has more options available to choose from plus they were having a special which saved quite a bit of $$.  Lisa Marie was extraordinarily knowledgeable & helpful in selecting the right flooring for our needs & budget.  We have dogs who are not always reliably "potty trained" so we were particularly interested in a highly durable floor without having to exceed our budget.  The vinyl plank flooring we selected (one of many available as well as laminate, hardwood & other hard surfaces) fit the need and budget.
preparation for the install:
we had baseboards removed and moved extra-large items (treadmill, organ).  We also removed smaller objects, e.g., lamps & accessories which left only furniture to be moved/arranged by installers.
details of the install:
The new floor abuts against tile floor in two places.  In one place, there are very irregularly shaped steps for which installer (Jorge) made a recommendation to continue the tile instead of using the vinyl plank - good recommendation. It looks great.  The concrete floor needed repairs in several places before the new floor could be installed.  We were advised in advance that the need for repairs might increase the price -- it did and we were fine with the amount which was very reasonable.
They completed the replacement floor in one large room the first day and completed the replacement + tile in the second room the following day.  The work started about 9:30 am on both days -- completed after 7:00 pm day 1 and around 5:30 pm on day 2.
The installers were professional & respectful.  I work from home and there was virtually no disruption or interruption the entire time they were in the house.  The doors did need to be left open due to odors from materials used in the installation and because of the need to carry materials in and out but we were advised in advance so we could contain our pets.

"Thomas was the right person for this work. Excellent knowledge of the right repair and plastering techniques. Protected the area outside the bathroom from any dust or contamination. Very polite and personable. My dog also liked him. Cleaned up the area afterwards. Finished wall blends in perfectly with surrounding wall. Pricing very reasonable. Couldn't be happier!"

"Tile looks great. A promise was made that the grout on the backsplash over the sink would be repaired. It was not done. The steam caused the light bulb in the shower to fail. It seems to be the fixture itself. The electrical outlet near the sink was similarly ruined. We have an electrician coming tomorrow to fix those two items."
