"Overall pleased with the outcome one and product. It was a large patio pour with colored and stamped concrete. Within two days they came out and had plans drawn up with what we wanted. Very nice customer service. The biggest issue we had was that they tore out the old deck 2.5 months before starting to frame and pour the patio which left us without a back door. They did give us a refund on the back end to help compensate. They were very considerate on cleaning up the yard of mud, debris, and trash. Overall, great end state. "

"Scott was very pleasant to talk to and was very professional. He was busy and was obviously in demand. We did wait for about 6 weeks to get started. It had also been raining quite a bit and that added to the wait time. Soon as Scott started the work though, he completed the project  quickly and did a great job. <br /> Apparently, one of our boards on our stairs had started rotting. Scott didn't see it when he gave an estimate. A part of it broke off while he was going up and down the stairs. He immediately said he was going to replace the board for free since he had missed it when he gave us an estimate. He came back after a few days and promptly replaced the board and applied stain to match the rest of the deck and stairs. <br /> He also came back another day and did another walk-through after the stain had had time to dry, and did more touch-ups to an already beautifully finished deck. We are very happy with the quality of his work and his professionalism, We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. It was a little pricey, but our deck was in pretty bad shape, with most of our stain stripped down to almost bare wood from wear and tear. It had been 5 years since the deck was last stained. Scott said that the stain he put on should last 5-6 years, maybe more, if we can do a little bit of touch ups here and there. <br /> One other great thing about Scott is that he does not ask for money upfront. In fact, he didn't want payment after he had applied the second coat of stain. He wanted to give us time to look over the entire deck after it had time to dry and make sure we were 100% satisfied with his work. He came back for his payment several days later. Overall, A+ experience and provider! <br />"

"I chose this company because they'd done a neighbors' concrete and they were pleased with the experience and the sealant that was used doesn't change the appearance like most do. <br />   When I first contacted them they were booked ahead with big jobs. They could get to me by mid-June, but would fit my job in earlier if possible. They did, several weeks earlier. <br />   They cleaned my driveway, personal walk and patio, public sidewalk, and curb. Special care was given to the highly dirty/mildewed areas. I pointed out some decorative border stones and a repaired area that would be fragile and he took care to not damage those (or anything else).  <br />   They discussed whether the water-based or solvent-based sealant would be better given the age of my concrete (and the tendency to mildew). The solvent-based was used with special attention to those areas prone to mildew. <br />   They kept me well-informed re: what was being done and what I can expect going forward. <br />   I'm LOVING the clean look and also seeing water just bead up on top!! <br />   I didn't give an 'A' re: price, but it may have been competitive re: what I had done and the products/tools used. I hadn't gotten any other prices since I knew I wanted them to do it."

"I got quotes from three different painting companies: $380 with no explanation of how the work would be done; $200 with some explanation; and My Three Sons' quote of $297 with a calm, detailed and clearly presented plan for treating the rust and painting the vent. Owner Keith Zafren kept in touch with me by phone and email before he went to my house; after he looked at this very small project when he again explained what he would do and when he planned to do it; after he got the first coat on (and sent pictures); and when the job was finished. He even sent a picture of my pathetic porch and offered to write a quote for staining. Keith requested a partial payment for the materials, and within a week, the job was done. HUGE IMPROVEMENT. I would definitely recommend him and would use him again. This is the second time I've used Angie's List for finding and contracting with a service provider, and I have been thoroughly pleased with both."
