"We have a large patio made of paver bricks.  After having two types of edging that the frost heaved up, we decided to try their curbing.  When Corby  the owner came to give us an estimate, he said they don't normally use the cubing for this, but said it would work since it sits on top of the ground, so the frost won't affect it.  He also said that it would stick up about 2" above the bricks.  We agreed that we could live with that.  We decided to use the mowers edge style of curbing. <br /> The crew was very courteous and worked to ensure the curbing was pushed up against the bricks, as the machine they use can't lay the concrete right up against something.  They did a great job, and cleaned up really good.  <br /> We hope to add more curbing to other areas in the future. <br />"

He re-graded my back yard so water <br /> would flow away from the house.  I had many bricks, 4x4's and chunks of <br /> cement that I wanted to re-use and Paul was 100% for that. "When it became apparent that our old steps would not make it until spring, we called the Unit Step company. They got back to us very quickly. Mr. Jim Marten came out within a few days and gave us an estimate on the spot. We agreed to go ahead, and he gave us a date within two weeks (the step units are custom-cast for each customer and take some time for the concrete to cure). We got a phone call in about 10 days saying that the steps were ready and, weather permitting, would be installed in two days. Mr. Marten and a helper showed up on time with the new steps. The removal and installation took about two and a half hours, and the job was done neatly and the cleanup was thorough. It was a good experience, with a minimum of fuss on our part, and I certainly would recommend Unit Step to anyone interested."
