I hired Schmitty's to remove an old double bowl kitchen sink and faucet with a new single bowl sink and upgraded faucet. There was no upselling or attempts to convince us to replace our garbage disposal which two of the other plumbers recommended we do. We saw no reason to replace our disposal which functions well and is not that old. Partners Drake and Gage came out to our home as scheduled, and they got to work immediately working efficiently and thoroughly. We appreciated their no-nonsense, honest, prompt service, and very fair pricing. I chose Schmitty's based on the positive customer reviews, and would hire them again. I told them I would recommend them to all my friends who have plumbing needs!"

The technician was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They have done other projects for us in the past such as convert a single vanity in the master to a dual vanity and redo plumbing in the kitchen to accommodate our IKEA drawer. "We requested a bid for installation of recessed kitchen lighting. What we got was an estimate for the cost of rewiring the knob-and-tube in our entire house, plus the cost of the fixtures. The rewiring alone was estimated over $18,000. Our home inspector informed us about knob-and-tube when we moved in, as well as the excellent condition of the wiring. Adding LED fixtures would have been a low draw on the system and we have since gotten a far better bid from another electrician. Our impression was that we were given a hard sell to spend almost $20,000 on a big project we did not ask for. There was no alternative solution offered. Additionally, the price quoted for the fixtures was very higher, higher than any I could find on a basic Internet search for the same fixtures, so big price gouging there on the materials. I am confident that these are skilled electricians, but as a homeowner and consumer, I felt that we were not heard and that the company, as represented by the initial contact with the lead electrician who seems to primarily be a salesman, is interested only in big-ticket jobs. If you need a big commercial project done, you may find Seatown to be your best choice. As a homeowner, I felt like the company's next prospective sale. We won't hire this company."

First appointment no show service man got into a job that occupied his whole day. Second appointment missed because service man sick. Finally showed up for third appointment. Congenial and wore mask when he arrived. Said it would be $550 for the inspection. It took fifteen minutes. No parts or anything. Just labor. Easy access. The service person came back upstairs wearing the mask to only cover his mouth, not his nose."
