"i met these guys at the Home and Garden Show and decided to take a chance and hire them to do my garage floor even though I knew nothing about them. They were very quick responding to my request for a quote, then clearly and thoroughly explained what would be involved in doing the work in my garage. We agreed the install would begin 8am Monday morning, and the team showed up exactly the time I expected. All five people working on my garage floor were very friendly and they really seemed to enjoy their work. It was an 11 hour day for them, but they completed the job thoroughly and it's beautiful. I thought the price I paid was very fair and fee like it was money well spent! I would recommend Garage Experts wholeheartedly!"

"The lead painter was pleasant and responsive, and did an outstanding job sanding and restaining a built-in desk that we thought would require a new top. Our walls are textured. Where repairs to the drywall were done, Brooks' crew failed to retexture the wall before painting and had to be called back to redo those sections.  They responded promptly to the request by the contractor (whose office is next door to theirs). Overall, the quality of their work is very good to excellent, with well-cut-in edges where a stained built-in desk and bookshelf topped with crown moulding merge with painted walls and crown moulding.  A few edges on the cabinets could have used a second coat, but are not noticeable when the cabinet doors are closed.   To their great credit, they are very neat and apply lots of drop cloths; no paint drips were present on the floor or other surfaces at the end of the job. They are also quick.  Overall, we would recommend them, but the work should be inspected closely before they are paid. They are not cheap. <br />"

"it went well.....I'd say, "really well," but there was a slip in use of masks by a member of the crew towards the end of the day......it was understandable, but still a bit disconcerting....."

"The initial visit for the quote went very well. The individual was specific in capturing what work we wanted done and discussed items like caulking around the stove top on the counter or not. We decided not since there was a very large gap and generally those are made to be removed, This was also the advice of the Grout Medic representative. Unfortunately the technician who performed the work at the appointment wasn't as detail oriented. The caulk around the shower had gaps which I brought to his attention and he fixed. No issues with that. Although he explained that it was difficult to get tight caulk lines and the same quality that was originally put in place when the house was built, interesting opinion. Ultimately, I was fine with the experience so far. I had to leave while the technician was working on the kitchen, leaving my wife and in-laws at the house. This was unfortunate because I would have called out the numerous problems at that point. I was also remiss in not raising these issues later with the company, this was due mainly because we were selling the house and I didn't have time to deal with the issue. Here are the problems that I had with the kitchen counter top regrout. There was excess grout left along the edge of the refrigerator, behind the stove top and around the back of the sink. Generally areas that one would not notice without close inspection. There were also spots, generally corners on the island and the back splash by the fridge where only the original grout was visible. The stove top was also caulked, I generally find this to be a problem where the original person providing the estimate verbally communicates an expectation that the technician is aware of. The join between the sink and the counter was also grouted, another item where the initial person performing the installation stated that they will use caulk instead because that area generally cracks if grout is used. The quality of the grout lines were also less than desirable, this was the least of my concerns. The attached pictures were from around the stove top and show the excess grout as well as insufficient grout. Again, an area where no grout should have been applied and was not present prior to the service."

"SheCan2 is awesome. We have hired them for two different jobs now. Most recently we remodeled our master bathroom upstairs. They removed an old jacuzzi tub, tiled the floor to match the extending tile, and installed a new free standing tub. It turned out perfectly. Kim was very responsive with getting us an estimate and schedule, and Steve did a phenomenal job on the remodel (great attention to detail). We also appreciated how well Steve cleaned up the work area at the end of each day since we were still using the bathroom in the evenings. We will definitely use SheCan2 next time we have a project around the house!"

FAQs for concrete floor coating apply projects in Walnut Grove, CA

Epoxy flooring is a two-part coating made from synthetic resins and a hardener that bonds to concrete to create a continuous, durable surface. Once cured, the coating resists impacts, moisture, and most household chemicals, making it a practical choice for garages, basements, and workshops. It also creates a uniform, easy-to-clean finish that looks more polished than bare concrete without requiring ongoing waxes or sealers.

With proper care and maintenance, solvent-based and solid residential epoxy flooring can last 10 to 20 years, while water-based epoxy flooring lasts three to five years. Water-based epoxy is less durable, making it more susceptible to regular wear and tear. Commercial epoxy concrete flooring that experiences heavy foot traffic may only last two to three years.

Maintaining epoxy garage floors is relatively easy. You can sweep up dirt and debris with a broom, dustpan, or vacuum cleaner, then use a mild cleaning solution intended for epoxy floors to scrub away stains. Avoid using soap-based or chemical cleaners. Mopping an epoxy garage floor regularly with warm water can do the trick.
