"Okay.  Gutter system should work fine.  I chose a color and the contractor called and said he matched his color swatches and I needed a different color, which I appreciated because I was originally asked to choose from little tiny swatches of color sent by computer and I was told there would be no service frills with my Angie's List discounted deal. It was hard to tell what it would actually look like, but they weren't going to do something that looked bad either.

  

I was disappointed to find an elbow joint laying in the yard, along with three or four chunks of metal with long, sharp nails sticking out, scattered in the yard along the property line I share with a next door neighbor that has a small toddler. This is because the old gutter was pulled down in a windstorm and I asked them to take it away, which they agreed to do and they also took the rear gutter out along with the old downspouts which I really appreciated. There was no extra charge which was great (they can make money back on the metal from a scrap dealer) so the price was fair.

"I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"

"The gentleman arrived on time as we had pre-arranged and was very professional.  He did a thorough job of inspecting the chimney and flue, then removing birdnests, and finally cleaning the sides and hearth.  There were patches of mortar to be repaired as well.  Then he cleaned everything up and did a great job.
