"The installation process went great and was completed in approximately 2 1/2 days.  Joe and I had a miscommunication of when the siding product would be in (was going to take longer then expected) and it was a small issue because we have an interior renovation going on...so needed to time the siding install properly.  It is great when everything goes smoothly with renovations, but you can really differentiate the good guys vs. the bad when the process doesn't go as expected.  Joe did his best to make work with our tight timeline and really cared that things went right.  I really appreciate anyone that can step out of the box and do everything they can to make the customer satisfied with their purchase.  Joe is a really good guy and genuinely wants all of his customers to walk away happy.  That is great to know because you want a contractor that will stand behind his companies work and product.  Custom Siding was not the cheapest bid I received on siding, but when Joe came out for a bid his estimate was the most thorough and all inclusive.  I do not doubt that other companies would of performed the same services, but it is nice to have everything in writing and that the contractor shows you exactly everything going into the project. I would recommend Joe Zuber from Custom Siding and Window Solutions to anyone looking for a good company and guy to work with."

"I had gutter failure from huge storm in KC area last weekend, which caused water to pool in front of a basement window well and led to my basement flooding. I tried calling many other gutter companies, but they all were 2-3 weeks or 2-3 months booked out. the owner of 5 Star construction came out to give a bid, and immediately said that he would take one of is crews off another project to immediately address put up the new gutters so as to avoid further flooding into my basement. He said my situation was way more urgent than his other customers. He had a crew out the very next day to put up the new 6" gutters with splash guards, and addressing some of the other minor siding repairs."

"The work was done during a spell of 90+ to 100 degree temperatures and the A/C unit outside had to be removed in order dig 6 feet down. Tomahawk brought in professional grade fans to cool the home, brought in a de-humidifier making an effort to keep us comfortable. Before they could begin digging, they had to remove shrubs and landscape rocks which were hauled away. The project was completed 3 years ago and so far all is well.

The roofers were very professional and made sure items around the house were protected or moved, so that nothing was damaged during the removal or installation. All debris was effectively cleaned up and removed after the job was completed. Although there was a production management change during the process, I was very satisfied with the end result."
