"We had an great experience with DTS Family Plumbing Services. I had an appointment. with a “Large local KC HVAC Company”, to replace our 20-year-old water heater. Then we saw an ad on Angie’s list for the same water heater and install for ½ the price from DTS. I called DTS and spoke with the owner, Anthony Morales, and right off the bat he was extremely personable and took the time to explain the honest process on cost on this type of work. We decided to go with DTS instead for the replacement. Anthony scheduled us in the very next day and arrived along with Tony right on time. They again were very professional in covering the work they were going to do. Within in 1 hour, Anthony and Tony had the new water heater installed, and the old one removed. Having such a great interaction and experience with Anthony and DTS, we are now planning to use them to remodel our bathroom’s at the new house we just purchased. "Joe Zuber, owner, responded promptly to my request for a bid. I received three bids and his was the best. His crew showed up on the date agreed, introduced themselves and worked constantly until the job was complete. They had the old siding removed and cleaned up in less than one day. The crew was extremely polite and considerate; I was happy to have them around. The finished job makes my house look very tidy and well-cared for. tProject was bid last Fall and delayed at our request until Spring. The original bid was probably underpriced due to a miscalculation on their part but they stood by their bid. We discussed using pre-colored Hardyboard but Brian convinced us that a better result would be obtained by using the non-colored siding and then painting. We worked pros and cons to wrapping eves as opposed to using Hardy products. When the weather finally cooperated, the crews started arriving. They took pictures of the house before starting, so they would remember how everything went back. The crews they use for siding installation, painting, and gutters were all sutcontractors but top notch. Brian was the company project manager and he kept me informed of plans and suggested changes. The gutters were originally bid for 5 inch gutters but after re-evaluating our roof runoff, they upgraded to 6 inch w/o additional charge The siding crew were just amazing. Arriving early morning and working non stop until there was no more light. They were exact in their measurements and always in good spirits and very respectful of our personal space. They were not used to working on a rolled steel roof so their ladders scraped some of the finish off but quickly repaired it after I pointed it out  They cleaned  the site up completely at the end of each day...and believe me their is lots of trash in a project like this.  They could not figure our how to get my nightscape lighting back on correctly, so they paid for the original company to come out and re-install it. The painters were another crew that did great prep work and worked well with the siding crew. The gutter crew were done in a day.

Dan Ryan spent a good deal of time planning how to deal with some odd features with our roof and was more thorough than the other companies in the planning stage. He worked quickly with the insurance adjuster three times. His crew was punctual and professional and kept the site clean. No surprises except some bad decking which Dan worked with the adjuster to cover. The whole job was completed in 12 hours. I would use them again.

"I had gutter failure from huge storm in KC area last weekend, which caused water to pool in front of a basement window well and led to my basement flooding. I tried calling many other gutter companies, but they all were 2-3 weeks or 2-3 months booked out. the owner of 5 Star construction came out to give a bid, and immediately said that he would take one of is crews off another project to immediately address put up the new gutters so as to avoid further flooding into my basement. He said my situation was way more urgent than his other customers. He had a crew out the very next day to put up the new 6" gutters with splash guards, and addressing some of the other minor siding repairs."
