"I was referred to Summit Roofing by 2 separate friends who used them and were happy with the quality of their work and pricing. It took longer to schedule my job than I had hoped but it was because they had to wait additional time for the metal material to be delivered. Due to a lot of rain my job was delayed. To make up the time, Summit scheduled a crew to be at my home on a Saturday at 7:30am. They arrived promptly and completed what was originally scheduled for be a 2+ day job in one day! The workmanship is solid quality. The owner came by the day after the job was complete and walked around the house with me. He took care of minor marks on the house and replaced a piece of siding that has been damaged (no questions). I was sold on Universal being a certified CertainTeed product installer. It is a superior product than what is sold in general big box stores such as Home Depot. Day of 2 layers of old shingles removal, inspector Abe showed me the sins of others. The base wood was circa 1938, and needed to go. Not unexpected however they worked with me to arrange a loan to support the extra work estimate. As well my chimney was sadly in need of professional pointing beyond the shoddy patch jobs done by prior owners. I was assigned a project manager Ben, that kept all the work moving at pace as outlined. The workers were all responsible and respectful of me and my plants and property.
