"A+ review for William and the KeyPrime team! About a year ago, we purchased a historic house that was in need of several major repairs. The roof was over 20 years old and had not been done properly before, which had caused the wood soffits, eves, and fascias to rot. Squirrels and bats had started getting in through the rotted wood, and the gutters were falling off the house. We interviewed a lot of companies and received numerous bids. It was a complex project, and we wanted it done well + affordably (a difficult combination to achieve). We also needed all the work to conform to the historic register requirements and be approved by the historic preservation committee. When William came out and discussed the project, we were immediately impressed. He demonstrated a deep understanding of the intricacies that the project would involve, and was able to explain things to us simply and clearly. He was patient and took the time to answer all our questions, so that we understood all our options and felt comfortable with the proposal. He also helped us to make informed decisions about where to cut costs in order to keep the project within our budget, as well as where it was worth it to spend the money and not cut corners. The project itself went very smoothly. Everyone on the team was friendly, and they worked very efficiently. A few times when questions or concerns came up, I called William and they were addressed immediately. One of our big worries when we started the project was that a company was going to come in with a low bid and then raise the price with “surprises” once the project started. William was very up front with the pricing, and let us know what would happen if they uncovered anything unexpected after the roof was opened up. Thankfully, no surprises were found, and we were billed the exact amount that we were initially quoted! A few small unexpected things even came up during the project that they could have easily “nickel and dimed” us for, but they just took care of them without any additional charges. The new roof, soffits, eves, fascia, and gutters that KeyPrime installed look great, and we are extremely happy! They did a great job restoring the beauty to our historic house. Our experience with KeyPrime was exceptional from start to finish, and we look forward to working with them again on future projects."

And the storm hit just before the closing of the sale of my house. Harry came out promptly and told me it is too bad all the damage did not happen at once so that he could have fixed it all in one go and save me money. His team proceeded to make the repairs, which took a few hours, and at end of the day handed me an invoice that was reasonable and did not take advantage of the time constraint I faced to get the roof repaired. "J&B Roofing was very responsive and professional when I contacted them about making some minor repairs to my roof in Saint Paul. We had some loose and folded over shingles that needed to be repaired ASAP for a sale. They did a great job on the repair for a great price! Somehow, they were even able to use the existing shingles on the roof. You can't even tell there was ever a problem up there. We will definitely contact them again for roofing repairs."

"They helped a lot with getting through insurance hassles and pushing to get the entire roof repair covered. Once everything got approved there were a couple scheduling conflicts on both sides. They did accommodate us on timing to not conflict with a toddlers nap schedule. There were a few small items left unfinished that took some time to get completed, but they did come out and address everything."

However, he started late (and di not call me as he had promised) and his crew did not show up at the time that he gave to me (about 2 hours late). HE also wasn't "on the job" full-time. He did not produce an aesthetically pleasing roof for us --- we have a unique home and even the flat roof is important in terms of attractiveness. We decided that we would just let it go, but I would not use him again for a flat roof."
