Also, In the middle of completing a list of necessary repairs I received a letter from the insurance company advising of an additional item in need of attention. Kurt was able to quickly provide an estimate for the additional task and find time in his schedule. I would be sure to contract with Kurt for any future projects."

He built my Pergola and paint job from his worker not great had to come back for do over. Then year later called him and text for him to come look at his work wood splitting and now looking for someone to fix because he doesn?t answer my calls :( you get what you pay for I guess."

"Jose Rodriguez was a basic carpenter. He used up 1/2 hour purchasing materials and I had to go with him to pay for them rather than reimburse him for the items. He had to pay him for the rest of the work which ended up costing over $300 for basic work that any handyman could have done. He left the wooden beam support with bracing and could not return until two days later and I was concerned that my large dog might get injured if she moved this. He left a heavy 2 foot 4x4 in my basement near the air conditioner; he also left the rotted roof support beam on my property which I had to dispose of. I kept the unused and cut wood that was purchased as I could cut it and re-use it elsewhere. I recently hired a real carpenter for replacement of my shed doors and he was a true skilled professional who came to my house and measured the wood needed and hardware and purchased the materials and had an assistant to help him do the work which was an excellent job. Quite a difference. Had I known I would have hired him to do the other work done previously and the cost for his work was at a much better price than the Angie's List "pro". No more Angie's List pros for me. Wherever do you find them and how do they get an A rating?"

"Beautifully. Matthew was able to remove and rehang the older windows which now open and close in their tracks perfectly. It wasn't straightforward as the house has shifted some since they were installed but Matt was able to find solutions, rather than discarding the old windows and installing new. He was always on time and stayed within the agreed budget. I met him when he did a fabulous job on our neighbors' porch and front steps. HIghest possible recommendation! 5 Stars!"

"Extremely well! Troy is very detailed oriented, so he makes sure not to cut corners. Before we found Troy, we had other box store installers refuse to take up the old laminate, while acknowledging the likelihood of bumps and bubbles without pulling up. Troy didn't flinch! He knew it was best to remove the old stuff and start with new sub-flooring, even if it meant the job would be more difficult for him. Troy finished in a timely fashion, and it's beautiful...no bumps or bubbles!"
