UPDATE: 10/17/2019 They called me and said they have real hardship in the family and apparently the contractor had some mental problems because of the family hardship. "I called 3 contractors and Papaneri & Sons was the only one who responded within a day of asking them to come over and give me an estimate. Mario himself came out and within minutes I knew his company was the one I was going with. I felt like I was talking to one of my favorite Uncle's. He has a great personality and is very respectful. He went over every detail of the job, which was a total replacement of a 2-car driveway, walkway, and step to the front porch, which he made wider than normal to help my elderly In-laws walk down easier and then he even did the landing on the side of my house as a bonus! He was even nice enough to save me money by asking me if he could leave his signs on the lawn for an extra week or so. In addition, once the job was done, Mario came back with bags of topsoil and filled all the surrounding gaps around where they had dug up. NO OTHER COMPANY DOES THAT! "It did not look good in the end even after he came back to refill cracks and dips. I wanted it to look like a solid surface with no cracks or dips. It is better than it was but not what I expected. I think the people we hire should give us a better understanding of their expectation before they perform the service and perhaps I would have not been disappointed because he thought it looked good and told me some parts of the drive were not repairable with seal-coating but I had to complain before he explained this to me. He trimmed a tree that hung over the drive which was a lot to do but left the plastic bags of trimmings that I had to transfer to containers that my township would pickup curb side. He was a nice person and a hard worker and for the time and effort he expended I would not rate it as bad job just not what I anticipated. Sincerely, Jennifer Beverly"
