"Greg came in on time and quickly put together 2 shelving units for my garage. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely hire his company again. Happy that I found GND."

"Excellent. Have used this company twice previously and was very happy with them so I called and Adam fixed my oven. When I purchased the new garbage disposal, he installed it and I asked him if he could look at my side by side refrigerator freezer and the one I had in the basement with a top freezer and I was having a problem with them leaking water because the lines were freezing up. He looked at them before he left and said he could fix them but had another appointment after mine. He came back the next day and fixed both my refrigerator/freezers. No problems with them now. Very reasonable."

"Estimator came out quickly, was very personable, and could schedule my install appointment a few weeks later right then and there. When the tech came out he was polite, efficient, and very quick.  Overall I was very happy with the service and would recommend them to others if the price is competitive with another company.

"There aren't a lot of details unless you want me to write the manual for this service. Suffice it to say they removed vent covers in every room, they set up a large vacuum to one of the downstairs vents that applied vacuum pressure to the whole system and they went from room to room vent with another device and worked towards the large vacuum downstairs. It was connected to their truck, removing the debris from the house to a filtered catch bin in the truck. They replaced the vent covers.
During the process they also ran a camera device through the system to check for problems/blockages. Further they checked the furnace filter. They explained everything they were doing throughout.
It appeared to be a very thorough job based on this novice's observations.

FAQs for appliance (microwave oven) installation and replacement projects in Waterford-works, NJ

A pro can finish the job in one to three hours. Countertop models are the quickest, but built-in, drawer, and over-the-range units take longer because the installer may need to run a new outlet, modify cabinets, or add venting. Any add-ons can push the timeline closer to the three-hour mark. Hiring a licensed installer ensures the wiring is safe and the appliance operates at peak performance.

Because an over-the-range microwave doubles as a range hood, it needs proper venting. You can opt for a recirculating model that filters and recirculates air back into the kitchen, or a ducted unit that exhausts outdoors. Are you unsure which route suits your cooking style? Ask your installer for guidance before making a purchase.

Only microwaves labeled “over-the-range” have the built-in venting and lighting that’s necessary for safe, code-compliant use above a stove. Countertop models don’t have those safeguards. Before you swipe your card, have a licensed microwave installer confirm you’re choosing the right unit for the space and ensure compliance with local codes.

It’s best not to install a countertop microwave in your cabinets. Countertop models aren’t designed for use in an enclosed cabinet, and blocking those vents can trap moisture or even create a fire hazard. A built-in or drawer microwave is designed for tight spaces. Run your plans by an installer to make sure you’re buying the right style for the spot.

You don’t need an electrician if the outlet already meets the microwave’s power needs and sits in the right spot. In that case, you’re good to go ahead with the installation. If the outlet is undersized, outdated, or too far away, hire a licensed electrician to install a new one and ensure everything is code-compliant.

With routine care, most microwaves last between five and 10 years. To help them reach their maximum lifespan, wipe up spills immediately, wash the grease filter periodically, avoid using metal dishware, and close the door gently. Those simple habits reduce malfunctions and keep the appliance running smoothly for the long haul.
