Then I got a call from IL Sewer and Drain. Joe said he could be out in about an hour, it was already after 4:30 pm. He came out, and was able to unclog our pipe! But upon inspection, the pipe needed to be replaced. He was able to schedule it for the next morning! The work took a few hours, but was all finished and cleaned up! I would not hesitate to hire them again or give them an outstanding reference."

"We had a blockage in our main sewer pipe under the basement floor. It turns out we had an old flood control gate that had collapsed. It was about 80% closed, so water was not able to get out of the house appropriately. I called several companies and not only was Robert's price reasonable, he was the most knowledgable and willing to talk through the issue and the solution. Robert, Phillip, and his crew were able to break up the concrete floor and replace the pipe despite the fact that it was encased in several feet of concrete and was located right near our fireplace. It was a bigger job than we anticipated due to the original pipe being encased in much more concrete than is typically used, but they were able to take care of everything without destroying the walls or fireplace. The new pipe was put in, and the hole was patched with cement. I can't say enough good things about the planning and work that Robert and his crew did. They were skilled and professional and a pleasure to do business with. Despite the large hole in the floor, the clean up was impressive. Half way through the process when we saw just how big and difficult the job was, I felt confident that we chose the right company. This problem could have been a lot worse, and I am glad we trusted Lincoln Sewer and Drainage to take care of it. They also noticed that our catch basin needed minor cement repair, and took care of that while they were here. "We removed the wood paneling in the basement shortly after moving in.  That's when we noticed 13 cracks in the foundation.  None of them structural issues.  They came in and repaired all of them in one day.  A couple of them were difficult to get to due to stairs and piping, but they did a great job on all of them.

"When we bought this house we were planning to renovate the basement.  The previous owner had represented that it had never taken on water.  The first weekend we were here, however, a torrential rainstorm caused the basement to flood.  We realized we needed to waterproof it before we could do anything else, and decided that drain tiling was the safest way to go.
Greg was phenomenally responsive from the start.  He was very clear about what needed to be done and how they would do it.  He also described some optional work but was explicit that it was optional and if it didn't fit within our budget that was that, and he wasn't going to push it the slightest bit.  His quote blew away the bigger, well-known firm and was less than or on a par with some others.  He also agreed to demo the walls for a slight extra charge, which otherwise would have been a huge convenience for us.  Between then and the start of work I emailed him repeatedly with various questions and he responded almost instantly.  When his workers took down the paneling we got the unpleasant news that we had huge cracks in the walls that would need to be tuckpointed and in one area a big chunk of foundation was jutting from the wall.  That section of the foundation would need to be replaced and a support beam installed.  We were more or less at Greg's mercy at this point -- we weren't going to halt work and bring in a series of guys to quote the tuckpointing & repair -- but Greg gave us an estimate of $2,600-$3,000.  We can't know for sure, but suspect that this price was more than fair, and Greg stuck to it even though we think the work turned out to be more than they expected.
The project manager, Jim, was fantastic to work with throughout, very communicative and accomodating, and the crew of five guys or so was extremely friendly and professional.  All in all, A Perfect Crawlspace was a pleasure to work with and we could not be happier with the results.

"Called Doro to clean up our yard, power-rake the grass, and to mulch all our flower-beds.  This was our first spring in the house, and the beds needed a lot of help.  Doro and team were able to help up the same week, and did a great job cleaning up.  The mulching was good, but was way more effort than they anticipated (and required more mulch) so they did spread it thin in some areas.  All in all a positive experience."
