"We engaged Tom Burrell of TD Burrel D&S for a deck renovation project that involved updating an aging wooden deck with TimberTech composite decking. From the outset, Tom demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship, creative spirit, and a deep understanding of the materials. We selected Tom due to his expertise and experience with TimberTech, his competitive pricing, and his flexibility with the project scope. We received quotes from three other deck companies, all of which were more expensive and less accommodating. Tom was thorough, detailed, flexible, patient, and kind. We recommend Tom and his work, however, a few considerations to keep in mind: 1. Our project was planned for 2023 but was ultimately delayed into 2024 due to unforeseen financial circumstances and impacts from other projects. Though unplanned and unfortunate, Tom maintained consistent communication with us throughout this period. 2. Tom operates mostly as a one-man team. "Why 5 stars? First the Arrowhead rep I met with was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. He made many trips to my house to review plans and bring paver samples. He provided a competitive bid with another "affordable contractor" and was much less than another "expensive" contractor bid. He provided some very good input to improve on my original patio design. Arrowhead used 4x8 plywood sheets to protect my lawn as they brought their heavy equipment in and out. The patio foundation was a full 12 inches of 3 different sized gravel stones. I observed quality craftsmanship during the installation, especially with all the curves in my design. Meticulous work. The finished patio looks amazing. The crew power washed everything upon completion. They also brought in sod to replace some damaged areas in the immediate patio area that resulted from the digging. I also paid for landscaping stone to fill in around my walk and pool. It looks great. I highly recommend Arrowhead Pavers."
