The whole process from start to finish was done nicely in steps to make the process smooth and easy for me as a home owner to plan around and I was informed during each completed process to be sure I was happy first before they continued. Northland’s online estimate tool was also a plus as I was able to build a close estimate to what I actually was quoted at the end! My project was completed in the winter which I was hesitant since I wasn’t sure how well or quickly they would complete my fence due to the possible cold/snow storms but they were able to get my fence up within a reasonable timeframe and it looks great!! Not to mention the awesome discount i got for completing my project in the winter!! My only negative is not doing it 5 years ago when I first purchased this home due to the fear of cost, time and stressful process since i live on a busy corner lot just to realize how easy it was with Northland and wasting away 5 years of my yard!!"

"The only problem I saw was the barb wire was not straight on a 30 foot section and the dirt around a few of the posts was not packed right. The price was pretty good and they did the job the next day after estimate. One of the workers was kind of rude to me after the job was done? all in all I may hire them again but will get more than 1 estimate next time"

After stripping the deck there were a few more boards where some rotting was identified and Barak and his team replaced them promptly. Stain looks great and made an immediate difference. I had been contemplating if my 20 year old deck was too far gone and needed replacing... but after seeing what Barak could do with stripping the old paint off, replacing some bad boards, and staining... "Preston Schmidt works alone and works harder than I can describe! He gently power washed each cedar shake on our large and complicated roof. It was early October in Minnesota, so he worked from 10 AM to 5 PM for two days on the cleaning, replacing about 6 shingles. Preston had to use lots of safety precautions while washing the roof. The roof had to thoroughly dry before he could apply the seal coating. Nature did not cooperate as it rained every day for a week. However, when we finally had two days of sunny dry weather, Preston finished the seal coating. The roof looks fantastic!"
