"Prior to these guys saving our property, we foolishly hired an under-qualified contractor to install a large patio and retaining wall system. It turned out to be a never ending nightmare from the start that left us with pooling water everywhere, mud leaking thru walls and stairs that were falling apart. We hired Classical Pavers to hopefully resolve all our issues, and boy did they deliver. These guys are true landscape engineers! They uprooted the previously installed pavers, flawlessly re-pitched and graded the base, planned for all the possible drainige issues that might come up, and completely cleaned the pavers and property of any remnants of their work. "I have been working with Ace Pro for several years now. They are my “go to“ for all my projects. Among the most recent have been new Trex decking, new driveway, including Belgian block, Belgian block, curb the length of my property, and repairs to my garage foundation to prevent water. They also finish the garage floor, grinding out the previous finish cleaning it thoroughly and painting it. The garage is now completely waterproof, dry and clean. Highly recommend!"

They installed Belgian blocks around my lawn and replaced my crumbling front steps , and even found bricks that matched the old ones (not an easy job). The new steps look great! "John and his crew installed a 300 ft + driveway and turn around area for us in October of 2020. He and his guys did an outstanding job. Some of the prep was completed prior by another contractor 3 years before. John quickly assessed the drainage issues perfectly. We are situated on a hill and we have not had a significant puddle in our driveway yet. He widened our driveway quite a bit and raised the end of our driveway to prevent the waterfall we had before. Someone drove over it on to our lawn and made a mess getting out - his paving and border held perfectly. I am convinced you will be happy with his work. Charles is also very creative and 100% trustworthy We met with nine top rated companies before picking Charles & Son (recommend by a friend in Upper Montclair as well as good reviews on Angie's List). He gave us a great computer generated design before they did the work. Huge crew with lots of equipment. As a producer who builds a lot of movie sets, I know a highly skilled and hard working crew when I see one. We could not be happier with the work they did. We had one small electrical issue three months later, and Charles sent his crew over the same day and fixed the problem. We are now hiring Charles & Son to do more landscaping work, some structural work on our garage, and interior stone flooring. From an integrity, work ethic, an quality perspective, I give these guys an A. (BTW, their bookkeeping dept. caught an accidental overpayment we made on our last check, and sent us back a check for the overpayment.)"
