"Hawkins was excellent in getting back to me immediately and arrived on time for the appointment. He promptly diagnosed the problem with my dryer and fixed it in no time. I did mention that I believed it needed another timer, because it was not working well. He suggested that clearing this clog may resolve the timer, so to wait and see if it clears up, because timers are expensive. If the timer continues to malfunction, I should call him back, and he will give me a price to replace the timer. The only thing was, when he arrived with his partner, he never introduced himself, nor did they put on booties to cover their dirty shoes. Other than that issue, I was pleased with their service, and now my dryer is working again."

"Scott came to my sisters house to diagnose and repair a washer that was trickling cold water. He told her that the machine was not getting water and the problem was the valve and plumbing feeding the hoses. Call a plumber. I went there an had a look thinking that that was unusual to be blocked with public water and pressure. I disconnected the hoses from the washer and put them into the tub and turned the water back on. The wasn't a flow problem. It was the cold water solenoid on the machine that quit working. It is an electronically controlled valve. Kaput. I ordered one and replaced very easily. I called Scott and thought I'd tell him what the problem was. I wasn't angry, just gave him a call. I wasn't expecting him to raise his voice in defense of his misdiagnosis and what he charged. He told me she was lucky that I hadn't charged full price. lol. I said she was lucky that she didn't waste more money having a plumber tell her that there wasn't a water supply problem. I really wasn't expecting him to get loud and defensive. I thought he might be humble, admit a mistake and possibly offer a refund. But was told that he did her a favor only charging her $89.00."
