I wouldn't recommend another company to do pavers, concrete, or landscaping work. The attention to detail was absolutely amazing! They transformed the front and the back of my home with beautiful pavers, hand cutting each piece and laying each one of them so symmetrically. I've had at least half a dozen neighbors stop in to see their work and ask for a business card! And the clean up...my goodness. Each day they wrapped up everything, put tools away, and keep everything so tidy and clean. I really appreciated that. No mud and dirt everywhere...it was incredible! During my consult, I shared my vision with Jose and his team created the design for the back patio, the walkway, and a new front porch. I trusted his expertise and wow - it is so beautiful. "We have employed Tavis on 3 separate occasions now, and would totally recommend him; his work is exceptional.  Tavis is a perfectionist and this quality reflects in his work.  He is extremely easy to communicate with; I am a creative person who likes to be able to bounces ideas off contractors to see what feedback/guidance they can provide to help carve out your project and reach your final goal.  Tavis worked with me and helped in the design of the project every step of the way and turned our very plain rear garden space into our very own oasis.  He helped solve drainage issues we had, which was the initial reason we started the project.  Tavis is a very hard worker and the quality is in the detail, he learned the trade as a kid from his father and has been doing this for a very long time now. The only down side I would say he is a little pricey, but you also get what you pay for and his work is excellent.   <br /> I can attest to his concrete work also because the first job Tavis completed for us was to pour a concrete base for our backup generator which I think we did in 2011 (if memory serves me right).  He made sure to provide a detail that stopped the generator vibrating up the wall because it was attached to the wall/foundation of the house and the pour was industrial strength concrete.  My husband and I joke all the time about Tavis's work because I swear our house will fall down before any of Tavis's work does, because it is built so well.  He always goes that extra mile, if he thinks something could be a problem in future and by doing a little something extra in the prep work he can prevent it, he will try his best to plan for those events and build it a little deeper or a little stronger to start. <br />"

"I've used Sharper Cut to develop the gardens in front of the house, terrace the front garden for a level field for the trees, bushes, plants and water fountain, and build out the back garden to include and expanded patio and fishpond with waterfall. Their work is superior...and helps give the house a more inviting exterior view to family and guests. I'd recommend them for any project great or small...and they can tailor the project for future growth based on your budget! The winter refresh and clean up went exceptionally well...as their work always provides!"

"Excellent, sums it up! I had to wait while he finished another job to get the job started but well worth the wait! Gene and the guys started by demoing all the tile on the floor and removing the shower glass, and the damaged shower curb. Found subfloor issues and they fixed it all. Job was supposed to take 2 weeks and 90% was done in 1 week. They installed a new underlayment, and then the new wiring for heating. Then they covered it with thin set, my floor is solid as a rock now. Rebuilt the rotted shower curb and sealed it as it should have been originally. Laid the new tile, new stone on the curb, grouted and cleaned up! They cleaned up everyday and took special care to contain the dirt and dust during construction! Also took special care to ensure the dog did not get out while removing all the debris. The bathroom is toasty warm, looks excellent, no more rotten curb and I am so happy we selected Gene for the job! <br />"

"We are extremely pleased with the work of Earth Friendly Services overall.  How the space looks now really exceeds what our expectation was for the end result.  Our basement space was pretty much a mess and posed a number of remodeling challenges, including a very uneven floor surface, moving of the gas meter, support poles in weird places, multiple water valves and other items that require access.  Yet with how it looks now, you'd never know it was such a mess to begin with.  Both of the lead guys for the company, Steve and Bill, were good listeners and were patient with our questions and our issues as things came up when they were doing the work.  Both of them had good attention to detail and worked to get to what we wanted, rather than what would have been easiest for them.  For example, we asked them to use a type of drop-ceiling tile they'd not worked with before, and they got it done, with the result being a fantastic-looking, modern ceiling, rather than the industrial look most weird spaces end up using.  There was no down-time during the project, as someone (usually several people) was/were down in the basement working every day, resulting in their finishing the job exactly in the timeframe that they said they would (originally they said it would take three to three-and-a-half weeks, and they were done in three weeks and three days).  There was none of that "Hey, this is going to cost a little more than we said it would" or any of the nightmare stories you hear from other people getting their basements finished.  It cost exactly what they said it would up-front.  Further, their total cost was $8K lower than the closest bid we received <strong>for the same job!</strong>  It sounds crazy to say this, but these days it feels like an oddity when contractors do exactly what they say they are going to do for exactly what they say it's going to cost, but that is exactly what happened in our experience with Earth Friendly.  This is the company you want to go with if you are on a budget yet nonetheless expect a quality product and a professional contractor with a solid work ethic."

"The transformation is really amazing. I wish I had taken "before" pictures. They applied the stain and antique style glaze so expertly it looks as though we purchased new cabinets. I noticed to my amazement that the workers kept trying tenaciously and working longer and longer until they got the look just right without my asking them to go to all that trouble. They were courteous and cooperative as well as very helpful. I am not including the cost here as it was part of a much larger contract but generally their costs are very fair and affordable."
