I so appreciated his offering, without our asking, to work on a Saturday when that is not something he normally does, because his work was the next step in a series of interlocked steps in making possible a big project raising the slab of our basement. He worked efficiently, brought all kinds of appropriate equipment, including two machines of different sizes in case there was a need for a stronger machine, which turned out to be the case. He helped us with getting ready for the next step in getting prepared for the slab raising by volunteering to move the toilet and the cabinet. He kept everything very clean, caused zero damage to the carpet that abutted the tile that he removed, which was a very tricky task. He made very helpful suggestions about the shower that had suffered in the sinking of the slab, including what might happen during the raising, which we had suspected might happen. He made suggestions that were things about which we had not thought for changing the shower after all of the slab work was done and about how to handle installing new tile. His ideas were really creative. I expect quality work, and that is what we got. We definitely will have him install the new tile when all of the other work has been done, and we will have him design and do the work on a completely-better type of shower, replacing the ugly standard builder-installed shower with something with more room and much more stylish. I had trusted the Angie's List scoring, and his work matched his A rating. I would definitely enthusiastically recommend his work to others. He has a pleasant, warm demeanor, is accommodating, professional. I can hardly wait until he does the bathroom design and tile work."

"I called San Diego Water Damage & Remediation Services immediately after realizing that overnight, our kitchen had suffered from a flood of nearly biblical proportions. A water line had sprung a leak in the ice maker, dumping a large volume of water on the floor, under the cabinets, into the wall, everything was just soaked. I was pleased to get an immediate answer on the phone when I called San Diego Water Damage & Remediation Services. They quickly calmed me down, and had a specialist in my home within an hour. I was surprised to see how quickly they were able to assess the damage and get started drying things out. I was also surprised that the owner of the company, Rafael arrived at my home a few hours later to personally check on the progress of the job. Rafael checked in almost daily to make sure things were progressing smoothly, which I really appreciated! After several hours of clean-up, and thankfully finding no mold, the team had installed an array of specialized drying equipment, including one specially designed for hardwood floors. I was very concerned that the flooring would have to be replaced, driving up the cost. Fortunately that was no problem! After several days my floors, walls, and cabinets were *completely* dry. I've been through water remediations in the past and I've never seen a more thorough or complete job. These folks use these amazing IR cameras and water sensors to literally pinpoint the spots that are still the tiniest bit damp and reposition the equipment in just the right spots to dry them out. When they left I was totally confident that my house was completely dry! Overall I was extremely impressed with the professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication to customer service that the entire San Diego Water Damage & Remediation Service team provided. "The first technician believed what we thought, that our old hot water heater was leaking. He did a very professional job and quickly replaced it. Sadly, that wasn't it. And the 2nd techincian had some ideas of cause of leak, but it's been over one week and I've not gotten any quote of ideas to fix. The first technician did such a nice job he helped out weigh the cost and 2nd guy's lack of follow through."
