"NGB Carpentry did a great job replacing the vertical blinds on my slider and fixing the sliding doors to my bedroom closet. The young carpenter was pleasant and efficient. He completed the work in one trip, and the cost was reasonable. I would highly recommend this company."

"Plj is one of the best companies to work with on Cape Cod. Plj is very intentional with what they do! If you are looking to do any type of carpentry work, contact Plj, you won’t regret it!"

"I noticed some fallen shingles on the ground around 2pm and looked at my roof and saw I was missing ridge cap shingles. When I went to the attic to check, there was a hole straight through my roof, and of course tomorrow we are getting major weather with lots of rain and wind. As heights are not for me, I frantically searched internet for repair for that afternoon with very little hope. I sent a request through homeadvisor, and got a can of foam insulation ready to go into the attic to at least fill the holes in case I didn't hear back in time. Low and behold, I get a call from Roger saying he could come by TODAY! I put down the can of foam, closed the attic and couldnâ t believe we would have repair service day of. I figured it would be very expensive but I was wrong. Roger came 15 minutes before sunset, masked-up and very friendly and professional. He set up his ladder and lights and was up on the roof fixing ridge cap very quickly. He ended up finding more issues while up there and he repaired those as well. He was up on the roof in the dark. Could not believe it but he was very comfortable up there. While on the roof we got to talking and we also needed some interior trim around front door fixed, and while he was here he ended up replacing the entire door frame as I had material on hand. Roger may be the best gem I have found on Cape for contractors. Hard working, honest, so fast, and reasonably priced. He could have raked us over the coals because was before a storm but he didnâ t. I will be using Byam Construction for any and all needs and will recommend him to all of my friends and neighbors. I strongly recommend Roger for any carpentry & roofing needs."

"Carlos did a great job of painting my house. He is a wonderful professional, a pleasure to deal with! I am going to hire him again to do the carpentry work."

"Had a bedroom closet fixed and redone. Excellent work and very professional. Thank you"

"Despite careful research to find and hire builders/remodelers to do a variety of jobsâ a kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, and farmer's porch addition, to name a fewâ we have always been frustrated with the process and/or disappointed with the results. However, this is not the case with Joe Perullo! Joe and his team are AMAZING as they completed a new master bath, a new master closet, an outdoor shower, and a basement remodel! 1. Joeâ s communication is clear and frequent. He informed us of the plan and the timing of it and followed through with the plan. 2. Joe is a great listener. He understood what our vision for these projects was and he made the vision a reality. 3. Joe is committed to ensuring the customer is satisfied with the result. He checked in frequently to make sure the work met our expectations. 4. Joe is responsive to the needs of the customer. If we had a question or a change to be made, he eagerly addressed the question and/or made the change. 5. Joe and his team are experts in their craft. Whether it is painting, plumbing, tiling, or fine carpentry, the results have been above the expectation. 6. For all of his great work, Joeâ s prices are fair and reasonable. We highly recommend Joe Perullo for your next remodeling project!"

"Colonial Restorations was superb.   Our family very much enjoyed working with Brad Green and Tom Green.

At the outset, they made thorough assessments of our family's barn, identifying several problem areas and offering multiple proposals for how best to address each (including strategies and estimates).  They walked through the different proposals with us, addressing all questions and discussing different options.  This was extremely constructive and important to the process.

They demonstrated very clear understanding of post-and-beam wood construction.  They displayed great expertise in working with wood (white oak, red oak, hemlock) and with the tools, jacks and cribbing needed for this work.  They worked carefully, always putting in place the necessary jacks and cribbing in advance of each phase of this project.

They were clear about their schedule and were very responsible about communicating with us.  If there were a day that they would not be on site, they let us know ahead of time.  With the exception of a snow storm and an illness, they were on site five days a week from the first week in January till the second week in February, 2016.

By the completion of this project, Colonial Restorations had made significant and important structural repairs to our barn.  This work was done with care, craft, accuracy, and to code.  (All elements of this project were examined and passed by the building inspector.)  Most important, these repairs respected and worked with the existing structure and materials of the barn.

We could not be happier with these repairs or with the work done by Colonial Restorations.  It was a pleasure working with Brad and Tom."
