The roof/deck was deteriorating and unsafe. I contacted more than 20 contractors over a two year period, many of whom didn’t want to take on the job due to all the uncertainties, others who told me that the only option was to completely rebuild the entire addition, some who never responded to my inquiry at all. The guys covered all young plants and were careful not to damage any of them while tearing the roof off and also during clean-up. There was one tiny issue after the roof was installed, but they came right out and addressed the concern and all is perfectly fine now.
