"I wish I never hired them. I am now two years into a project they told me would be 6 months total but they were contracting for 12 months "just in case". This was in June 2022. As I write this on May 30, 2024, they continue to delay. Have no control over their subcontractors and continually say "it is out of their control". I have been told multiple times that some of their subcontractors "handle multi-million dollar places" so "they doubt they will ever meet with you." They have made enemies with our architect, engineers, and even pissed off city inspectors with their attitude. But of course, it was always the other person's fault. The latest example is over the cabinets. Rani said on April 4th that they would be "installed next week". We are now on May 30th and only a portion of cabinets are done. They then tried to invoice us for the completion. It has been excuse after excuse. Install was finally supposed to happen Tuesday. They told us Tuesday morning that the cabinet guy's shop was broken into so therefore they can't come this week either... but won't provide when they can come. Any time we try to get answers they say "it's out of their control". They have no accountability for anything. This morning, the shower door guy "got confused" and went to another job in Hollywood and don't know when he will be able to install. It's never-ending. What they truly care about is easy flips and things they can post on their instagram. Seriously, don't work with them. It has been a nightmare. They continue to blow past every timeline and deadline they give you as "approximate" even when you agree to hard dates (with built in cushion time for their numerous mistakes and oversights). Why write a bad review? Is an act of desperation at this point because I just want them to get out of my house and complete the promised work."

"Just finished a full kitchen remodel with Unique Home Design & Remodeling, and if I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Working with Tal made all the difference — he was honest, organized, and clearly experienced. This was our first big home project, so we were nervous, but Tal’s steady communication and willingness to walk us through every choice really made us feel confident. The team was respectful, clean, and worked incredibly hard. One thing that stood out was their flexibility — when we made a few changes mid-project, they didn’t roll their eyes or nickel-and-dime us. Instead, they adapted and kept things moving forward. The result is a beautiful, functional kitchen that feels us. Highly recommend these guys if you want quality and peace of mind!"

"I am not sure how the rating for this company is so high, as my experience with them is one of the worst I've had in a while. I needed a few water-damaged planks on my deck replaced and then painted. Though this project was smaller in scope, getting the Danny Deck team to finish the job correctly was anything but simple. The issues are too extensive to describe in detail, so I've included them in bullet points below: 1) The pricing was on the higher side of the quotes I gathered, but I liked the staff, so I went with them. 2) Most contractors, including the rep from this company, said the project was a 3-5 day job. Instead, they rushed and squeezed the entire project into just 2 days! 3) After realizing how quickly the team completed the job, I double-checked with them to ensure they finished several details we had gone over at the beginning of the project. They said yes. Upon checking myself, they did not. 4) Not only was the job unfinished, but I ended up with the NEW problem of an exceptionally squeaky deck that wasn't there before they worked on it. 5) The painters painted sloppily along the concrete walls the deck was adjacent to and bits on the door frame entering the house. 6) The painters also took the paint home with them, so I had to chase them down for weeks to fix the paint job myself. 7) Every time I set a time to meet them at the house to fix the issues they left behind, they were either late or just didn't show up at all. It's almost comical how unprofessional of an experience this was. Instead of taking 3-5 days, it took 5 weeks from start to finish to wrap this project up. And with a $4,500 price tag, I cannot believe how much chasing around I had to do to have them finish the job and undo mistakes that weren't even there before they touched the deck in the first place. The only reason there's a second star on this review is because they were generally pleasant to deal with. But the amount of time exhausted trying to get them to finish the job was too staggering for kindness to be enough. I could not on my conscience recommend this company."

"Needed full deck and balcony replacement. Eric provided a quote that covered what I needed and was very much in line with prices I researched prior to his visit. The team, led by Pancho, arrived everyday around the same time and got right to work. This was a polite, hardworking crew who understood what needed to be done. Everything was cleaned up every day when they left. Pancho worked as hard as the crew and made sure my needs were met. The finished products exceeded my expectations. The quality of work was exceptional. Communication was very good. I would not hesitate to use them in the future. I highly recommend them. Thank you!! "
