"The fence was installed satisfactorily, but we requested a certain kind of post caps but were given another (not a huge deal, but still we didn't get what we asked for). But, because the fence abutted our basement bilco doors they had to remove one of the door handles. They proceeded to break both of them. I reported this to the company and they asked that I send pictures, which I did. The company has never replaced or compensated me for the broken door handles.

"Bob and his crew did an outstanding job on all three projects.  The first shed foundation required a lot of front end loading work with the township and Bob helped me navigate the process.   All of the jobs required significant travel for Bob and his crew, but they arrived early everyday and worked long into the evening.  Bob pays attention to the details and does not cut corners.  His rates are competitive and you definitely get what you pay for.  I highly recommend using Rock-A-Fellas for your next foundation or shed project.

"From the first contact to the last, Backyard Custom was professional. The whole experience was easy. Due to the recent snow storm, we had to delay the job for three days. I was involved in the construction industry my entire career and I can testify that this was one of the most efficient and well constructed projects I have seen. The showed up at 8am and left just under 8 hours later. Job done!! Quality!!! I can imagine the surprise of many of my neighbors who drove by my house in the morning with an empty spot in my back yard to find driving home a large 16' X 24" Shed. "Desmond and Brian were awesome to work with! We purchased an old fixer upper and were really overwhelmed by the amount of work it needed. We wanted to do a lot of the work ourselves, but decided to hire someone to do the messy work for us. Desmond and Brian were more than willing to complete a partial job. We came across many contractors that would only renovate our kitchen from start to finish. After giving us an estimate, they were willing to negotiate some of the pricing to make us feel more comfortable with the cost. They were extremely fair with their price.
The communication was great throughout the whole experience. Desmond frequently called or texted with updates and questions. We were living about 40 minutes away during the renovation and Desmond would send picture updates on a regular basis. On one occasion, the people refinishing our floors (not affiliated with Desmond) accidently left one of our doors open. Our neighbor called Desmond and he came over right away to lock-up for us...so nice!
The work was excellent quality and they were able to complete it within the timeline we needed. We always felt comfortable having them in the house when we weren't there. Both Brian and Desmond are overall great people, did fantastic work, and were fair with work/pricing. We would definitely hire them again!
