"I have to admit that I was skeptical when my wife agreed to a sales visit from American Weathertechs, but salesperson Spencer immediately put us at ease with his mild style. It was clear he was selling a quality product (we got the top of the Alside line...3-pane windows with Krypton gas), and the price seemed reasonable. Spencer answered all of our questions patiently. Everyone I came in contact with at the company gave me confidence. Everyone from Spencer, to Megan in the office, to Dallas who came to measure and ran the crew, were very professional and made sure that we knew what to expect and what was required of us. The crew showed up on-time and completed the job in the expected 2 days in very cold weather. Supervisors Dallas and Scott ran a very tight ship, and everyone on the team knew exactly what they were doing. Only one window (a half circle in our entry way) gave them any trouble at all, but with a little adjustment on the window and the opening it went in just fine. The windows appear to be VERY high quality. Our coldest room (the one over the garage) was instantly warmer with the new windows. The whole process was easier than I had expected, and the house was left clean. My only suggestion is that the crew uses a regular vacuum cleaner on carpet, rather than just the shop vac...there were little pieces of glass that the shop vac did not get. We have a little bit of touch-up paint and spackling to do after the installation, but it is relatively minor (and expected). If you do get the triple-pane windows, be aware that they are thicker than your current windows, and there will be less window sill and room to put up the blinds when they are installed. We were told about this, but the thickness difference was more that we had imagined. We would definitely recommend American Weathertechs for your replacement windows!"
