"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"This is a great, hardworking group of people! Jonas called me right away and advised me to submit a claim with my insurance company since we had some shingles blown off during a windstorm. I've only been a homeowner for 2 years, so the whole process was very anxiety inducing. However, Liberty Mutual walked me through the process, accepted his estimate, and the roof was complete the same week! Can not say enough about how quickly and efficiently they got this job done. Jonas had a tarp nailed on our roof with some 2x4s to cover where the shingles were missing before we even officially hired him. I appreciated that workers didn't begin before 8am, and they ended their days around 6pm. Never even asked to come inside or use the bathroom. They ended up needing to add new sheathing as well, but our homeowners insurance worked with us to cover that cost along with the roof. Every other roofer that I contacted said it would be a minimum of 3 weeks until they got to us! The only thing that I was not completely satisfied with was the cleanup. I would recommend tarping areas off to make cleaning easier. We will definitely contact Freelance Builders again for some smaller jobs that we will soon need done.
