He also tried to sell me a service contract during this same visit. My faucet is not the cheapest on the market but is not especially unusual or frightening and is a common brand. It was installed by a licensed plumber, since retired, who showed no fear of the unit. The original firm of Caron and Waltz no longer exists and has been taken over by an outfit called Pine Tree Services. This experience seems like an outright scam to me."
