Six months later I had a full addition ( in law apartment) full basement with high ceilings, and tge main house is stunning! It doesn’t feel like an in-law apartment, cathedral ceiling, giant bathroom, all the comforts of home Adam was quick to respond to all my concerns, he always answered his phone and if I didn’t like something he was quick to fix it. "My project was to add a porch to the front of my antique house. I quoted the job out to 3 builders and found the prices all to be similar. Although Fiske Construction was very slightly higher I was impressed with the professionalism of the quote and Mike�s understanding of what I was looking for. I showed him a couple of pictures of the style I wanted and he immediately picked up the details that gave the look I wanted. Mike arranged for the permits and began work as soon as they were set. Mike�s work ethic is far better than many these days, he showed up early and worked hard all day, every day. I never felt that my job wasn�t his top priority. I added a couple of features during the construction , Mike gave me a very fair price on the additional work and arranged for the materials required. Mike is more than just a builder, he is a Craftsman. The fit, finish, and quality of the porch is top notch. I have had neighbors and strangers compliment me on what a beautiful porch and how it looks like it has always been there. It�s not an easy task to add to a house built in the early 1800�s and match the quality of workmanship and style for that period but Mike and his team nailed it, I could not be happier or ask for a single change for the entire project. "Costs increased about 10% over estimate, work was well done and the final product was professional and well-built. Communication could have been better, the builder promised weekly meetings but that didn't happen. All in all, we were happy at the end of it all, and all questions were answered and all finishes to our satisfaction, which if you've ever worked with a contractor before, you know isn't a given. 5/5 would work with them again, the fireplace mantel and threshhold was particularly well done."
