"Worst customer service ever!!! Came very promptly after call to give estimate. We liked the estimator, and were impressed by his knowledge and hands-on background. Estimate was given on May 4, and we were told verbally that it would be about 3 weeks before they could do the work. We signed to contract the work on May 7 and eventually got that to them by the 9th (the email to their address was undeliverable). After that, North-Eastern never contacted me despite my eventually calling them (repeatedly) making sure they still had me on their schedule and trying to get an idea of when they would do the work. Eventually (late June) I was given the estimator's phone number. After phone tag, he gave me a date (July 10). I called when they didn't show up by mid-afternoon that day. They then showed up (without notice) first thing July 11. The work done was just satisfactory. I will not hire them again because every phone call to their office, except for the request for estimate, got answered but was subsequently ignored."

"The job went extremely well. The installation was difficult due to the fact that the fence ran down a fairly steep slope between the two properties and had to contend with many trees. The old fence, which sat precisely on the property line, had been consumed by several trees over the years. Obviously, the new fence had to respect the property line while accommodating the now much larger trees. <br /> Both the designer and the installer ungrudgingly spent as much time as was needed for the neighbor and I to settle on an acceptable design between us and assisted us in resolving the inevitable issues that arise. In addition, the installer was very professional and cheerfully made adjustments to the project while the work was ongoing. <br /> The final result was a beautifully installed, custom-designed fence between our two properties. By 'custom-designed' I mean that while we had purchased a standard, commercial fence, it was clearly apparent that the installation had been specifically engineered to accommodate our unique layout and constraints. <br /> The only hiccup was that while we knew the installation would require two days, we thought the two days would be adjacent. Instead, the two installation days were separated by three days of inactivity. While this, in and of itself, is not an issue, we felt that the schedule could have been better communicated. <br /> Irrespective of the above hiccup, both the neighbor and I feel that Orange Fence is a good company and we highly recommend them. I plan to return to them for additional fence work to occur in on my property next year. <br /> <br />"

"The best review I can give is that if we had to do it all over again we would rehire Savvy Builders to build the addition. Their head carpenter was a master at his craft. We added this addition onto an old 1840 farmhouse so they had the job of marrying the old structure to the new addition. When we had questions or concerns about anything, they got right back to us."

"I contacted Shawn about providing a quote for the repair and reconstruction of the driveway on our new home.  After scheduling our first appointment, Shawn actually did not show up at the agreed upon time, nor did he call to let me know he needed to cancel.  This was very frustrating, but he called me a few days later and then did honor another appointment we had made.  He was very professional and did a nice job explaining to me what would be involved in the process, and he provided a quote by email within 24 hours.  The price was reasonable and comparable to other quotes we had received."
