"Wes and his team saved us from a terrible situation! We recently had our bathroom completely redone by a contractor who we didn't really know, and the work wasn't done well. We called in Wes, having worked with him several years ago to tile our kitchen, and he came by to take a look. Thank goodness he did! After his initial assessment, he knew right away that our "new" shower was likely leaking, and that there were multiple issues with both the tile and the structure of the shower itself. Wes coached us through buying the materials that we would need, and drew up a contract to get going on the project as soon as possible. After demolition, the problems really became apparent! All kinds of leaks, CUT FLOOR JOISTS, and other incredibly sketchy shortcuts from the original contractor. Wes walked us through the best strategy to fix everything and his team worked diligently to correct all of the issues and tile the shower beautifully. We will be working with Wes again for many more projects, particularly fixing the floor in this bathroom, which was also a hack job. He has been professional and courteous in all of our dealings with him, he shows up on time when he says he will, answers all of our questions truthfully and in depth, and he cleaned up after himself at the end of every day and at the end of the job, which is always a huge bonus! "I recently had the pleasure of working with Bay State Remodeling for a project at my residence. The project was adding an office, finishing the space above my garage as well as adding a mudroom. The project was started by another contractor who, after finishing approximately a third of the job, disappeared and would not communicate with me. Worse they had left a very large mess of construction debris in my yard. I reached out to several contractors to attempt to get the project finished. Upon hearing the project was already started by another contractor, most of the new contractors were not interested in engaging in the work. Bay State stepped up and immediately helped me feel at ease that the project was now in the hands of true professionals. Upon reviewing the prior contractors work they discovered several issues and explained to me my options. Jamie was instrumental in the initial onboarding of the project and assisted me with picking finishes. Andreina was my contact throughout the project and kept me informed on progress and what work was scheduled in the coming week. Marcio was frequently on site and was extremely helpful in explaining my options throughout the project and sharing his expertise from what he had seen on other projects. They were also very helpful in spotting small issues where some finished work could be improved and quickly brought the team back on site to address. All of the workers that were on site were professional and despite this being a multi-month engagement, the disruption was kept to a minimum for my family. The professionalism of the Bay State team was exemplary, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the future."

"If I could give zero stars, I would. Words can barely capture how frustrating and painful this experience has been for me and my family, but I’ll do my best. From the start, this process was riddled with red flags. During our visit, the saleswoman had their cost from the manufacturer written on a sticky note right in front of us — roughly half of what we were being charged per square foot. Not only is that incredibly unprofessional, it made it clear that transparency and customer trust are not priorities here. It took weeks just to get our order processed because I couldn’t get anyone to return my calls. When we finally got a delivery timeline, we were told three weeks. Since we were flooring our entire house, we had to move everything out — a massive inconvenience. But three weeks came and went. No flooring. Eventually, we were told the materials had arrived… but were sitting in their warehouse, and all their trucks were booked for another two weeks. This delay forced us to put our belongings into storage during an already stressful move. When the flooring finally arrived, some of it was damaged — despite being told there was a “vigorous inspection process.” On top of that, the sales team had advised us to order the wrong stair pieces. And guess what? No returns. So now we’re stuck with over $1,000 worth of stair parts we can’t even use. Every time I contacted the sales staff, I got the same runaround — excuses for the delays, no accountability for the damaged product, and no help with the incorrect order. Then, to top it all off, they shipped additional stair pieces we had agreed to pay for, but instead of simply charging the card they already had on file, they called me twice while I was out of the country on a business trip. I missed the calls, and now they’re threatening to send it to collections — over their own billing failure. This entire experience has been disorganized, unprofessional, and frankly predatory. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Shop elsewhere if you value your time, money, and sanity."
