"I was contacted within 5 minutes after doing angieslist, and Brent came out the very next day. I had already had several quotes from other companies and knew what I needed and things that needed to be fixed due to terrible air returns and flow. Yes Aspen was far more expensive but they did everything I asked for and then some. They did not try to up sell me and told me what was needed verses what I had already been told by others, without Aspen knowing. They were $2000-$2500 more expensive than my other quotes but your buying an American Made product from AMANA. Sure I could have gone with Goodman the same company that makes Amana and I could have gone with trane, carrier etc, however since it has been a mild fall we took two weeks to research all the units quoted to us from everyone and liked the proposal from Aspen the best even though they were more we decided to go with them verses someone more local which I have dealt with in the past. They drove 50 miles to give a quote and 50 miles to install it today. They worked from 8am till 4pm and installed both units with only a 30 minute lunch. They did not take breaks and were very respectful using Sir in every sentence as we spoke. They installed extra return air lines to help make the equipment work more efficient. They did not try to talk me into extra accessories or thermostat seeing how I did not need a fancy programmable one, or and electric filter etc. Jason the installer along with his trainee did a great job. I read all the reviews before accepting the contract and did my research, those who have make negative reviews are the type who will complain if they get a new car for Christmas free because it isnt their color. I had a great experience, Paid more but very pleased with the service and quality of work. Like I said we had 7 other quotes all less but I liked what Brent had to say and what he was willing to do for us along with his honesty that they could not compete with the other quotes. "Choice Home Warranty presents their company as the best home warranty. The sales pitch I received on the phone multiple times and in my countless e-mails that they sent. The information stated that repairs are done at times on the same day. I did purchase the warranty in June 2023. I called for my first service on July 21st. When my washer was draining the water my kitchen sink filled up with the water the washer was draining. I was then told that the job is sent out and we wait 24-48 hours for the response with an appointment. So I waited and followed up with a call to Choice. I was told no one had accepted the job. I received a phone call from Falcon Plumbing asking if I still needed service? I said yes!! The service was scheduled on July 26th. That is 5 days after my request for service. Not the same day not right away 5 days later. The young man that came out was very efficient . He cleared the pipe and asked me to run the washer to see that the water did not back up into the sink again. Problem solved. I did pay the required $75.00 for the service. I am very disappointed that Choice sounded like it was better than other home warranty co. I realize that Choice was not concerned with getting my repair right away. I have had a home warranty on my home since I purchased it 5 years ago. I think they are just like protection plans you purchase on a home appliance. Everyone will explain how you need this so much when they are trying to sell it to you. Hoping you never need to use it...Bad first experience."

"Work performance was good. Arranging the work was not professional and hard to arrange and not happy with the price. The primary phone number was the owner or service provider but I had to call a second number to arrange appointment. That required leaving multiple messages on morning #1 on a woman's phone that did not get returned until morning #2. The quote was a range and of course, my simple job wound up costing the max of the range. No surprise. If you get a quote with a range expect this company to charge the max of the estimate."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
