"I can't even begin to describe how pleased we are with the work that Milecas and his crew did. He not only understood our vision but exceeded it. Milecas installed a patio with 2 seat walls, one with a back wall, the other with columns, both with lighting. He also installed a patio door landing with steps and lighting. Both the patio and steps were beautiful but the thing that struck me most about Milecas is his integrity and dedication to his work. "It was okay. The company sent 2 techs. They could’ve come before it turned dark. The deal was supposed to include weeding, and other services. They had to leave 20 minutes early which was 40 minutes for the 2 workers. Scheduling was fine and the leaf removal was excellent. However, I'd specified on my order some additional bush trimming, and that didn't get done."

"Initial estimate was 5-8 days, but we were going in blind because the siding was not yet removed. After removal, we discovered all the remaining issues. The estimate went up as we made change orders but all the estimates were reasonable. The time eventually extended to about 3 weeks but the amount of work was definitely high. The guys made sure to clean up the rubble and messes they made every day. While having the paint stripper in the front was inconvenient, Pat stayed late to clean up and make sure we were able to get in and out of the house no problem. The pointing job looked great, and all cracked and broken bricks were repaired well. We have gotten a lot of compliments from neighbors about how much better the house looks now. Pat and Ryan are great masons and will do everything relating to masonry and stone. They are very straightforward about not doing carpentry or electrical systems, so if that's a part of the job, they can either recommend someone to help out, or you should make sure to handle it yourself. Communication with Pat is very fast and very clear. He will explain the details of the job to you very carefully, and will also provide careful records of invoices and payments. They are also very accommodating of various needs like access to the house, neighborhood requirements, etc."

"I called for an estimate on Friday morning and Steve returned my call  that afternoon.  He said he could stop by in the afternoon to give me an estimate.  I didn't have to be home but I wanted to be there and asked if he could make it before 3:15.  He was so nice to arrive a little before that time and gave me an estimate and said that he could do the work during the week of Sept. 23rd.
He was very accommodating when I asked if he could schedule the work for Wed. He said that he could but would  call me to confirm on Tues., Sept. 24th.  He called as he said he would and gave me a time when they would arrive.
Steve and his brother Ray arrived on time and worked together as an efficient team.  After the work was completed, I couldn't believe it was my house. Everything was sparkling clean.  They did an excellent job!!!!  They even put my patio furniture, flower containers and garden statues back where they belonged. Steve did some additional touch ups which was very much appreciated.
I would highly recommend Aqua Clean to anyone who needs pressure washing.  I would give them an A+ if Angie's list had a rating higher than an A which they received. They are very friendly, do great work, and are reasonably priced.

"I called several contractors and Juan Alonzo of J A Drywall was the only one to call me back. This was my first Angie's List experience and I was apprehensive about having a random company coming to my house to do work. Speaking to Juan on the phone was very reassuring and he said his schedule was jam packed but he'd have time the very next day to come give me an estimate on a doorway project. He was even able to quote me a rough estimate over the phone without seeing the property or situation. Juan came to look at my potential doorway from my living room to my kitchen. I feared that the wall may be load bearing but Juan said he would be able to build a brace and a header to support everything above the door. He had another job that same day several hours away but he said he could begin work later that afternoon. He gave me a call as he was on his way and he arrived with a team of 3 additional workers. The first thing they did was measure the wall and explain what cuts they were going to make. I already had another doorway in the kitchen and they made sure that the new doorway would be the exact same height. In my living room they built a series of 2x4 support beams to hold the wall in case it was load bearing. I had very dated and abrasive wallpaper in my kitchen from the previous owner and Juan suggested that he could take down that entire side of the wall for an additional charge. I said absolutely do it and I'm glad we did. When he opened the wall we discovered a hole in the ceiling to my attic that was sucking insulation into my furnace air return. Juan said he was not trained in HVAC and wouldn't want to tell me how I should reroute or rectify my air return situation. He did recommend another company he had worked with previously. He did repair the hole in the top of the wall at no charge. After the doorway and wall were taken down the team cleaned up in my kitchen and my carpets with vacuums and by hand. They left for the day and we met up again the next morning to continue the project. On the second day Juan's team returned exactly at our agreed time and got straight to work. They cut the joists that were holding the wall and confirmed that the wall was not load bearing based on the way they hung after cutting. They measured and cut new joists and placed a header over the new doorway. I didn't expect them to create a wooden trim around the doorway but they went out of their way to find trim that matched the trim shapes already existing in my home. After the doorway was constructed the team had the drywall measured, cut, and  up in my kitchen in less than 30 minutes. They taped the seams and spackled all the screw holes with incredible speed and skill. I was home during all the work and got to see every step of the way first hand (mostly because I was interested in how it was done and not because I didn't trust Juan's work) Overall I'm super happy with my doorway and J A Drywall's service. In fact, I've already recommended his team to my mother and father who also needed drywall work recently. If you want a hardworking, professional company please give J A Drywall a call. They should be the  #1 choice on everyone's list.
