"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. "The overall experience was good. Even though our roof is quirky and we have parts that are shaded, they were able to angle panels in different areas to get the maximum sun exposure. There was one glitch...the system wasn't working when we first turned it on upon approval from the electric company but once I contacted them they were quick to come out. The problem was a switch that hadn't pushed on properly and was an easy fix. We felt like they worked very hard to get the system in for us quickly and were polite and professional throughout the experience."

"The young guy who did the work was prompt and professional, but not well trained. He power washed my patio BEFORE blowing the leaves and sticks off my roof, so all the debris landed on my just cleaned patio, and he didn't follow up to clean it off.
He forgot to do the garage door and was all packed up when he asked me to inspect, so I just let it ride.

"The plumbing upgrade and dishwasher installation went very well this morning.  I bought a dishwasher for first-time installation in my older home and had texted Joshua the night before with pics of the "then current" plumbing and electrical situation.  He arrived on time with proper plumbing and electrical fittings and went immediately to work.  The used dishwasher I'd bought required more pieces, so getting those from Lowe's was arranged and he finished the entire job within 2 hours!  The only small concern (which he immediately straightened out!!) was the chrome airgap pop-up on the sink was a bit crooked, but again, he fixed that right up.   I am looking forward to hearing his estimate on some upcoming electrical  work for my patio.   I WILL recommend him to my neighbors and local friends!!

"NRG Heating and Air-conditioning provided excellent and extremely professional and timely service.  Everything was done above my expectations and completed on time.  From the inception of my contact with NRG, the office manager, Mike Molloy was professional, friendly and detail oriented in preparing the contract and ensuring to include all items that I requested.  The owner of the company, Joe Tamir, was exceptional, professional and amazing in taking responsibility for all aspects of the the project and personally showed up throughout the project to make sure all was going well. Al Cohen was in charge of managing the air-conditioning and electrical portions of the project and he is the smartest professional I have met so far.  He was able to explain and calculate the energy efficiency that I will enjoy with my new 5 ton Lenox package unit.  Filepe was in charge of installing the Lenox package unit and he was very good and respectful of my home.  All workers from NRG were respectful of my home and are frankly one of the best set of workers I have encountered in my life.  I have already referred NRG to my neighbors and friends and will continue to refer NRG for anyone needing, air-conditioning, ducting, insulation, solar panels, roofing, and electrical work. In light of the fact that most people do not have perfect experiences with construction work, I feel extremely lucky to have encountered NRG and I will continue to hire them for all future work."
