"I had bids from 3 kitchen and bath renovators and BKG came in far below the other businesses. I read good reviews about them so I decided to hire them. My design specialist was Terra Brubaker in the South Hills showroom. She was extremely helpful with choosing the cabinets and quartz countertops. She spent quite a bit of time with me through the process by answering questions about installation and appliance purchases. Installation went smoothly however there were a few minor things that needed adjusting after install so Terra made sure everything was perfect and sent the installers back to the house. I would highly recommend using BKG. The price and the product is one of the best in the Pittsburgh area. Thank you BKG! I have before and after pictures of my kitchen in the review."

We are a company that works close with are customers. We build custom addition and second story additions start to finish we do all demo and all carpentry work hour self's. And have top subcontractor that work with us all the time. We have a architect that we do work for and work with us to if needed.

"Bob and his assistant came early on a Saturday morning (in December 2013) and worked all morning scraping away the old refinishing material and then basically painting our tub with a layer of plastic paint. It looks great. He scheduled the original job with surprising speed, kept us informed about when he would get here, and showed up on time.
When we asked him to come and repair the damage we had caused it took several weeks before he could stop in, and then he called to cancel once but came when we told him we really needed to be able to use the tub because we were expecting company.
Our only problem with the process is that the tub surfacing material is really fragile and requires more special care than we wish. Ideally, we should wipe the tub dry every time we use it. You are not supposed to use any cleaning chemicals except vinegar, and this is ecologically a great thing but doesn't get our tub clean enough. In addition, last week I stained the tub when I hung black clothing to dry over the towel rack in the back of the tub and the dripping water pooled in the center of the tub, leaving a gray mark that won't come out.
We would have this work again because it looks so much better than what we had, and we'd have Bob do it, because he is great, but this is nowhere as good as the original enamel.

I wanted t mention that Bob responded as soon as he read this review and offered to come and remove the gray mark that I mentioned above. This is consistent with his excellent responsiveness. I plan to wait to see whether it fades before we schedule him to visit, but I really appreciate him contacting us so promptly."

"Once our granite slab was sent to them, they contacted us right away to come out and view the kitchen,
they came out and measured and about a week later they came out and installed.   They were very professional.  They don't use the laser templating, which is why their prices is cheaper.   Overall the fit of the granite was close to perfect.   There is one spot where the measurement wasn't exact but they were able to fill the area with something and it isn't noticable to the average person.  I know its there because i saw them do it but someone who doesn't know about it wouldn't notice it.
The seam work is great - they really pay attention to detail making sure the flow of the stone matches up.   Great Job!

"This was a complex project involving removal of the ceiling to expose joists, establishing anchors on the joists, drilling through an external wall, and attaching a steel channel iron to the outside wall. With force applied to a long bolt attached to the joists, the external wall was pulled into place and the joists were re-inserted into their slots. The job was a success and the crew was pleasant and cleaned up thoroughly.
