"Kapili Roofing was very professional, showed up on time and had the whole project completed in a little less than two days. First we were given information on roofing materials and colors to choose from. However, after making our decision we were told that the material and color we had picked weren't available. That was concerning, but the next "step up" in quality of materials was offered at the original price, and the color choice (while not what we originally wanted) was actually quite nice. When the work started the workers were very careful to lay drop cloths around the house and tried to minimize dust and debris as much as possible - considering they were ripping off the whole roof of our house, this was much appreciated. All the workers were polite, courteous, punctual and extremely hard working. I believe they all worked about 11 hours the first day and by about 3 or 4 in the afternoon on the second day they were done! In addition to replacing the roof on the main house they also insulated and replaced the roof on a small, low ceiling addition. That room was super hot (because of the low ceiling) and now is much cooler thanks to the insulation and white materials they used on that roof. The staff was courteous and conscientious and even made sure that there were no nails or other roofing trash left around our house."

"Kyle has done truly fantastic work for us in a very reasonable amount of time. Our church decided to renovate our church cottage and convert it from a Sunday school house into a parsonage for our pastor to live. Our cottage had no bathrooms or bedrooms and was a large open space. With Kyle's help and input we were able to draw up blueprints to convert the space into a 3 bedroom 2 bath with a new kitchen, utility room, and living room. We had several ideas and he helped us refine them and told us when we were on the right path or when it was unrealistic. Within a month we were able to have a viable plan to begin construction and our pastor was able to move in after three months of work. This included reorganizing walls, running electric/water, floors, installing closets, new kitchen cabinets/appliances, a water heater, washer/dryer hookups, new windows, doors, and termite damage repair. He was flexible when we needed to bring in separate crews to do fumigation, A/C units, and roof repairs. He worked with the other contractors to make sure they had what they needed (delaying drywall for a week and finding other projects to do so the A/C crew could run cords inside the wall; running exhausts a week earlier than planned so the roofers could single around them...etc). He has always been very professional and his work is beautiful. He takes such pride in his work and will make sure your projects look their best. Kyle is easy to get ahold of and communication has been open throughout the entire project. I would definitely work with Kyle again."

They provided a proposal with two options, and we ended up executing a third option - which was a hybrid of the two. The system created upstairs and downstairs zones, and minimized the number of exterior units by using multiple interior units on two of the three exterior units. The installation minimized the visual impact of the electrical conduits & trim duct lines on the exterior of the house, and it avoided having to punch through the roof. The system has been operational for almost a month, and it has functioned as planned with no problems."

"Great experience! The inspection/estimate went well and the agreed on cost seemed more than fair considering the amount of repairs that were needed. The work started within two-weeks. On the scheduled day the material and crew arrived early. The prep/work started right away. The repairs seemed extensive to me, but they must have a lot of experience because they replaced rafters and sheathing pretty quickly. The neighbors were impressed too...they commented on how quiet the worker were. The project took a full day (...and it was HOT!) and they ended by doing a walk-around to pick up any rubbish and debris. I was impressed with their professionalism and great work. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
