It was in very poor condition and when his team left it looked better than new! His team was also able to repair and rebuild the interior supports under the floor of the patio. "My husband and I came across 7th State Builders online. Eddie came out to our home for our initial consultation. He was punctual and professional. He listened to our vision and took the time to draw out a plan and explain the process. He was very knowledgeable and made some great suggestions. We decided to do a big project at our home. For the back: a rebuild and waterproofing of our previous deck and a large patio to go underneath it with a fire pit and sitting wall. The front of our house needed some repairs so we had them redo our sidewalk in the same patio pavers from the back. The whole area in front of our garage was cut out and they put in new concrete and leveled it out. They rerouted our gutters to prevent flooding as the previous design was doing damage to our foundation. The owner, Chase, was very hands on and kept us updated the whole time. He frequently made sure we were happy with the way things were going. The whole team made this project an enjoyable experience. Iâ ll admit, my husband and I can sometimes be difficult people to please-But wow!! They really knocked it out of the park for us! 7th Stateâ s precision and talent is unmatched. "Steve was on time and professional, and very easy to get along with. He looked at the corner where the leak is and assessed the issue and said he didn't think it was worth waterproofing it, but instead regrading the lawn by that section of the house (which was great news).
What's better is he even gave me a ballpark estimate in case we decide to waterproof anyway (around $3,000, which, from what I can gather on Angie's List, is very competitive with other companies, and in many cases a lot less expensive). But he gave tips on how to take care of the leak on our own, which will save a big chunk of change.
In short, Steve's honesty saved us lots of money, and if we ever need waterproofing services in the future, I'm going to him for sure. I highly recommend this company -- if their work is anywhere as good as their service, I'm sure you're going to be happy with the results.
