"After seeing a few commercials of Brighter Side Roofing, I asked my Daughter to contact them when my roof began to leak thru my laundry room ceiling a few weeks ago. Since I couldn't remember the name of the company, I waited for the commercial to appear again because I liked everything about it. Mr. Antonio Bridges, came out and went onto the roof to inspect the area I showed him from inside and returned to let us know there would be no charge due to the minor fix to the leak, Here we were prepared to replace the entire roof when only a few nails were needed. We offered to buy him and his assistant lunch, but they graciously refused , asking us to donate to a good cause, to pay it forward. "We were not impressed or happy with several issues. We had left curtains on several of the windows, the painters took the curtains down and then used them as drop cloths. They left paint all over several doorknobs, air conditioning intakes, and several large drops and smears on bannisters and railings to our stairs and great room. They did not edge between the walls and the ceilings so the lines are uneven and wiggly. They tracked paint over our front porch and poured out the water they used to clean the brushes on my plants by the front door. There was also cigarette butts left on the grounds outside the house and they left so much trash on the floor that the people who came in to do the floors called us and would not work until it had been cleaned up. After we complained to them, they did come in and clean the doorknobs, air conditioning vents, and the bannister, but the wall/ ceiling joints still need to be retouched in several places to look neat and clean (we are going to have to do this ourselves) . The walls look good, and the owner very nice and communicated well, but the workers were left unsupervised. We liked Robert a lot, but I was disappointed in the above issues."

"A lot of the project went well.  The carpenters were excellent and well worth the price.  I couldn't be happier with the tile job Mitch did!  I will tell you that over the course of this project, there were a total of 6 carpenters, 2 at a time that came and went, either quit or were fired.  ALL of the carpenters were far superior to the painter.   I am having paint and stain come off of wood in both interior and exterior areas.  Before the project was over I noticed stain was thin and missing from boards on the deck.  The painter gave me a gallon of the stain so I CAN FIX IT MYSELF!  I know I shouldn't have paid for this job, but like I said, I was ready for them to be gone. "
