"It was easy making an appointment. The office staff was helpful and I had a choice of days and times. Appointments are set for a 2-hour window and the technician called one-half hour before arriving.
Part of the work was covered by a local online coupon and part was a repair. The technician, David, was excellent. He was knowledgeable and competent at the job and was a pleasure to work with. I didn't know how he would solve the problem of the bracket, which was installed by another company. The replacement looks like it will last as longer than my house lol. The price charged was reasonable, and the work was done quickly and clean-up was perfect.
Needless to say, I will use ABC for any garage door work in the future.

John, the technician, provided a thorough analysis of what was wrong with my door, and gave me three repair options to choose from. The other 2 companies to give me bids only spoke of the immediate problem with the door, not taking into account that the system operating it was over 20 years old. The window replacements were done 3-4 years ago.  The windows are good quality.  The measurement of one window was not done properly and the installer did a fix by adding spray foam.  The deck was done 2 years ago.  The deck installers were fired as they made so many mistakes.  The deck install was suppose to be done in a week, it took 3 weeks.

I had a service tech com out to check a deck problem in May.  He is no longer working there and was laid off with almost all of the staff in Gaithersburg.  I called over a week ago for a service follow-up call.  The receptionist in Baltimore answered the phone, as there is no one in Gaithersburg and the phones are forwarded.  I am still waiting more than a week for a follow-up service phone call to be returned by the person who schedules service calls.   I have no idea how long it will take before someone can come to my home.  I am concerned that if I had a major problem, I would be waiting months to get a window repaired.

"tech never even went up a ladder to inspect the damage or what needed to be repaired. He said he could call me back later that day with a price. He never called and I had to follow up with he company to get a call back.  The price quoted seemed very high  for
resecuring the gutter to the house.

"It turned out well. I had to move the date until my kids were back in school, they definitely moved their schedule around and was very understanding. I did pay more than the big deal price because I had them do more at the last minute. The price was reasonable. They have it to where you pay for 8 hours of their work, so if they get done with one room and have time left they can start on another room. I bought the package for them to paint one interior room,but because it was so small hey called in to ask if he could paint a second room that I asked about since it took less time and I gave him I think $50 dollars more."

"The installer showed up on time and started work right away.  The installer was polite and professional and understood his work very well.  After discussing the doors and window that should be linked to the alarm, he provided advice on where the key pad should be located.  The installer also set up and explained the system to me as well.  
I docked quality, slightly, on account of the original placement of the pin pad.  The installer put it in a spot that prevented a door in my living room from fully opening.  I pointed this out to him, and the installer was kind enough to move it about 6 inches to fix the problem.  Moving left some extra drill holes in my living room wall, but that's fine as we're repainting soon.
