"Fantastic company that went above and beyond for me. They were punctual, professional and did a top notch repair job on my washer in a very timely manner. What set this company apart from other companies is that it’s locally owned, been in business 40 years and is run like an old school business (that’s hard to find these days). They offer unmatched customer service, superior work, and great prices. The company manager/owner took my order personally over the phone. I knew I was in competent hands and ones I could trust. I must mention something about our service technician (who in addition to the above mentioned) is the reason I plan to give this company my lifelong loyalty and business. His name is George (@city location) and honestly speaking, I don’t think I’ve come across a kinder more patient person who’s come to my home for any type of job. I must have wasted at least an hour of his extra time (inadvertently) due to a mixup I made with my credit card (100% my fault). This mistake(s) caused this sweet man to have to leave my home and come back to my door from his car THREE separate times. He had to then write out three separate service orders, voiding the first two. The temp was close to 100 F that day, and I’ll tell you, he couldn’t have been kinder or more patient about it. When I told him how sorry I was for taking time away from his other customers, he said, “You are my customer right now.” I was so impressed by this as well as the company and workmanship overall. Afterwards, I called and spoke with the company’s manager/owner, Boris, to explain what had happened. He also, was such a kind, personable and understanding individual who listened and thanked me repeatedly for my service. "Outstanding repair service in all aspects. Our KitchenAid dishwasher is only about 3 years old, and we were very concerned about being able to get it fixed for reasonable price and in a reasonable timeframe.... Then we found Crews Appliance Repair! I contacted them on a Thursday, and Mike was able to make it here on the following Monday. He was quickly able to troubleshoot our problem, which turned out to be a bad pump assembly. He able was to procure the replacement pump assembly in a couple days, and got our dishwasher fixed up as good a new. The repair price was completely acceptable and Mike is a true professional. Next time we need an appliance repaired, we will be calling on Crews Appliance Repair to do the job!"

"Although this was an installation and Gary does not normally do them he helped us out tremendously.  THEY ARE AN APPLIANCE SERVICE COMPANY.  We had confusion with another company about the job and we were told about him and that he could help us.  He called us within an hour of leaving a message on his phone and was at our home in under 2 hours.  He was very friendly and patient with us.  He knew exactly what to do and how to help us.  His price was VERY reasonable and he was very professional.  We will tell others about Able Appliance Service and use them in the future.  <br />"

"The AC unit stopped running and needed repair. I found this company on Angie's list with great rating and service reward, so I reached out to them for service. The technician showed up on time and quickly identified the cause and suggested options, so far so good. But what surprised me was the cost to replace a control board! I had similar jobs done twice in the past (the last one was done within 3 years) on similar units, both of the replacement cost were below $450. He was asking me a whooping $890 for it. I didn't understand why I had to pay double amount this time, but I needed get the AC fixed, so I asked him to go ahead. And it got replaced within a few minutes. Then the technician told me that the refrigerant level was very low and it needed refill. Again the cost is high, about $110 per pound up to 11 pounds. I was planning to replace the whole unit later this year due to the age, so I asked him to fill one pound or two as a temporary solution. He refused to do so and claimed that he is going to leave the system disconnected to prevent it from being used. Now you see, he really didn't leave me many options. I hesitated but eventually decided to continue to pay the premium price, and ended up paying $550 for the refill. You think it is done? Not so fast! Then he claimed that there is a leak and I will pay him $250 to search for the leak. It is an old unit, probably there is some leaking here and there. But I was tired of paying him premium price for many things one after another. I was afraid he might find some "major" issues, so I declined. Still, he tried to talk me into it by saying there is no warranty if the unit freezes back up and damages the new control board or any other components, and blah blah. Again, I was tired of all this, and I ended it there. Overall, the service is good, the price is just too high."
